Just arrived back home after a lovely few days away at the Paragon! The Paragon is a bit dated but it is very clean and the breakfast was amazing! The views are fantastic and it's in a good location. There are a lot of stairs to the rooms so not recommended if u struggle to walk. Mike and Lynn make...

After reading all the positive reviews of this 'hotel' I am astounded. I can only assume that the other rooms are of a completely different standard to Room 17 on the top floor. To start with I was expecting a 4 star hotel which booking.com bills it. It is actually a guest house (as we were informed by the manager)...

On Booking.com, guesthouses/hotels and B&B’s are referred to generically for ease of translation across their services. However, how can anyone after reading the description which clearly states that we are a ‘guest house’, possibly mistake us as a ‘4-star hotel’. The Paragon is also described as a Victorian mid terraced property on Booking.com with images of the outside and all...

We have been stopping here every year for the past 22 years. The views from the hotel lounge and seaview bedrooms are superb, Mike and Lynn who run the hotel are very friendly and we always look forward to seeing them and a superb breakfast is a bonus. There are some lovely walks close by, a visit to Peashome Park...

We thoroughly enjoyed our long wk/end stay at the Paragon. Mike, Lyn and the staff were lovely from the minute we arrived. The room we stayed in was cosy, clean and nicely decorated, a lovely comfy bed and great sea views and view of the castle. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful, definately filled us up for the day. A bit...

Hi everyone this is an okish hotel set in scarborough, it has a seafront view for most rooms. I stayed at the paragon for a weekend away with my sister. We went first weekend in August. The weather was lovely and the view of the sea was lush. We stayed in a twin room on the second floor (would not...

Fabulous hosts and friendly staff, with clean comfortable bedroom and a cracking breakfast in a lovely location. My kind of hotel. Will definitely recommend and very likely to return, especially if the cricket is on across the road again. Thanks

Back from another lovely weekend at The Paragon. Mike and Lynne are always welcoming and the room never disappoints, huge comfy bed, fantastic sea views, hearty breakfasts and mouth watering home made muffins. Had a lesson on Pokemon Go 😃 The pesky blighters get everywhere. See you all soon
