My husband booked this for my birthday. The room was tiny and not very clean. They had put strong air fresheners in the room which affected my breathing. The window wouldn't open so we had to phone for help. The owner came up and was not pleased and quite stand offish. Breakfast was ok but felt uncomfortable as they were...

I was very disappointed with this place - the room was very small and looked like it hadn't been cleaned. I struggle to see how this place can call itself a four star establishment - it needs some renovation and TLC. Staff were OK and the breakfast was nice. I would not come here again.

Riviera Town House has a charm of its own. The public areas are immaculate and feel that an interior designer has been at work. The lift has an old fashioned charm of its own. Our room on the 4th floor was small but spotless. The on suite bathroom was very clean. There was a good flatscreen TV, tea and coffee...

Found the hotel on booking.com but thought at £74 a night b+b was quite expensive so thought I would phone to see if any offers available which there wasn't. I still booked as the location is great. I asked if a nice view was available as it was my partners birthday. On arrival the place looks lovely. Check in was...

This place has an apparent 4* this is all lies, the breakfast room is pleasant and the reception rooms seem ok, the rooms on the other had are disgusting, dirty and the decor is terrible. Would of checked out if it wasn't for the 85 pounds cancellation fee. When reporting this all at check out the manager was rude and...

Stayed 2 nights. Went to surprise a friend on her birthday. Staff could not do enough to help us. Even though they dont have a bar they found wine glasses, plates, ice bucket, for wine and cake we had brought with us. We were given up grades on our bedrooms. Lovely gesture. Great location and fantastic breakfast.comfotable lounge. Staff very...

Having stayed at the Riviera Town House for 3 nights, i found the location very good, the hotel however, was not quite what i thought we were paying for. The downstairs rooms were very nice, and the breakfast room along with the breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, we had room 4 on the first...

We arrived about 10am on saturday morning and we did find it hard to find a space to park close to the hotel but luckily we did end up getting a parking space after a few times looking (cost £3 a day) The hotel looks really nice from the outside and the inside is even better! The staff were very...

Good location, but being so close to pubs and nightlife meant rowdy revellers into the early morning. Better with the window closed, but meant a hot night. Other than that we couldn't fault this hotel and would definitely return. Managed to get a parking space right outside and paid £3 a day.
