Firstly, if your going to book - do it through the hotel's website not Late Rooms - it's cheaper! The hotel is excellent, the room was lovely, clean and had everything I needed. The owners are very friendly and give the hotel the personal touch. Also there is free broadband to connect to. The breakfast is excellent - I had...

I stayed at this hotel for two weeks and I have never felt so comfortable when I am not at home! Catherine and Mal are so nice and cheerful, considerate and helpful. They are careful with their wellkept hotel so therefore it is clean, cosy and almost like your own home. They have taken great care in choosing the beds so...

Thank goodness we were able to stay here having made a late booking & stayed 19th- 21st July 2013. The entrance to the hotel, path, front gardens/patio area are stunning (at night the pathway lights up on approach). The host's Mal & Katherine are very, very nice people with Mal always having a tale or 2 to tell & both...

This was our third consecutive year staying at the Raincliffe. We came across it on a website and enjoyed our first visit so much that we have come back the last two years. The owners, Mal and Katherine are two excellent people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They seem to work non-stop but are...

Me and my partner have just returned from a three night break at the raincliffe hotel and it was superb. We have always been a bit particular when it comes to picking somewhere in the right location and meets a good standard and this place ticked all the boxes. On arrival there was ample parking available on a good wide...

My mother absolutely loves this hotel in Scarborough, so when thinking of treating her to a weekend away I immediately called The Raincliffe, they were so helpful and friendly on the phone - they even arranged an additional bed for my little sister and went out and bought a bottle of champagne to be in the room when my mother...

From the first contact by mail to confirm I got the room I wanted, to the last day of my stay I felt like I had come home, to a place I did not even know existed. Mal and Katherine made me feel so welcome and comfortable that I didn't even want to leave. The hotel room was lovely, like...
