Arrived in a fairly average suburb with betting shops and pound shops wondering whether our relaxing weekend was going to be what we had imagined. Drove up a back alley, through a gate into a beautiful brick paved courtyard with pretty cottages and a beautifully restored windmill. Our delight did not stop there. We had booked a 2 bedroom cottage... More

Decided to stay here on a weekend away in Scarborough with my partner as thought it was a bit quirky. Couldn't decide on whether to stay in the four poster rooms or in the windmill itself but decided on the four poster room. The room was lovely decorated and very clean and homely and cosy. The bathroom was lovely too... More

Stayed for two nights in this really unique place. We had one of the apartments in the windmill itself, beautifully presented with everything you need for a self catering breakfasts. The new owners are a great family who are carrying out upgrades to put their stamp on the place. It's fantastic now but I'm sure with their enthusiasm and ideas... More

Scarborough is one of our favourite places, we have visited for the past 40 plus years and we didn't know there was a windmill!! My husband booked the break for my birthday and what a lovely place to stay. The Windmill is set in a beautiful courtyard, surrounded by a quiet residential area, about a five/ten minute walk from the... More

Set in the centre of town, this is a previously working mindmill now made into an apartment consisting of 1 bedroom and an upstairs kitchen diner. With stylish and comfy decor this was definately home from home and the quirkiness of it only contributed to the overall loveliness of it. I loved it from the moment I set eyes on... More
