Recently stayed for 2night with my parents in room 6 and myself and dog in 10. Lovely and clean and very welcoming. Couldn't ask for more. On arrival, outside looks run down but once in side you couldn't ask for more. Breakfast was one of the nicest I've had and I stayed in B&B's regular. Would definitely return.

Needed a dog-friendly hotel and couldn't have chosen a better place. We booked Room 1 for 3 days in order to take advantage of the balcony and amazing view this offered. Sitting on the balcony sofa, drinking a G&T in the evening watching the lights along the bay was magical. The room was spacious - 2 adults and 2 large...

Breakfast was exceptional with a very good choice of cereals, fruit and yogurt and the cooked breakfast was the best we had tasted for a long time. It was lovely...

Janet and John are a lovely couple who went out of their way to make things nice for us. It was convenient for us to eat there each evening as my father wasn't able to walk far. In the...

A very friendly welcome and very informative about dog friendly places to eat and drink. Clean room but quite tired décor, but I believe they are updating. Lovely breakfast with wonderful views. Would stay again.

We booked fairly last minute and were lucky to get the last available room, but we're sure glad we did! Janet and John couldn't have done any more for us. Very accommodating, friendly and a superb place to stay with a stunning view of the North Bay from their terrace. They're in the process of modernizing the hotel as from...

Just returned from castle By The Sea again. had a fabulous time. We watched the surfers and a race for life from the terrace. All rooms are good as we found by talking to other guests. People with dogs said it was very good
