Excellent hotel with very helpful staff . Rooms very comfortable and food second to none. Would certainly be paying more visits. Convenient location for Scarborough and Robins Hoods Bay. Beautiful grounds. Chose the evening meal option and enjoyed a fabulous three course dinner. Breakfast menu comprehensive and individually cooked to order. Afternoon tea very welcome too.

We found this place at the last minute and couldn't believe our luck. Its relaxed atmosphere, lovely house and grounds, good food, and helpful staff was just what we needed. We'd certainly go back again if in the Scarborough area.

We stayed for a couple of nights over Easter and loved it! We had a refurbished room with the most amazing view and beautiful decor. The newly decorated bar area is stunning and the food was superb. Couldn't fault breakfast or dinner, the menu was really very good and the staff on the whole were extremely helpful, especially Jack. Hotel...

I chose this hotel for my wifes 50th birthday and spent the weekend here with my family. What an excellent choice as nothing was too much trouble for the owner and her staff. For the main "birthday meal" on the Saturday evening we were given a private dining room and treated like royalty. A first class weekebd and a first...

My family have been staying at this wonderful hotel for 45 years, it just gets better and better. The new owners are a credit.to this fabulous hotel. Im staying for three nights. We have entertained here in the past, the facilities are excellent, i could write about the history, we have stayed in nearly every room. Excellent value for money.

Stayed for dinner, bed and breakfast for one night- very good value deal. Drinks prices a bit expensive, but probably to be expected. Rooms being refurbished gradually, still need a few extras, such as mirrors in bedroom, not just in ensuite. Very quiet atmosphere, food very good, particularly the desserts. For a wednesday it was fairly busy, mainly older clientele.
