The positives, the staff were pleasant and our room was clean. We were attending a conference so a lot of people in the hotel. The car park was completely full but I still managed to park around a 3 minute walking distance away and it was still in the hotels ' parking zone' so parking was free. The food wasn't...

This hotel was a bit dated but is in the process of being done up. We were in room 113 which had a veranda and could see the bay and surrounding areas. It was beautiful especially at night. Our room was a twin and was very spacious. There was a big bathroom with shower over the bath. The dining room...

public areas nice enough but our room was dismal, peeling wallpaper, old furniture, uncomfortable bed, bathroom floor dirty along with cracked bath bath panel plus peeling paint on window frames!!. View from room over beach was lovely & bar prices good.

A two night stay at this lovely hotel, not modern but clean homely and charming. Perfect location at the top at south cliff with spectacular views. Lovely gardens and the staff were friendly and helpful. Only problem was the only dinner option was expensive at £18. I will return. Just don't expect corporate or luxury and you won't be disappointed....

Stayed 1 night whilst visiting Scarborough. Im a big fan of the TV series The Royal so I googled hotels near where The Royal was filmed. It was near the Clock Tower and the actual building that posed as the hospital so that was what I wanted. But had I know how tired the hotel bed rooms and other parts...

Stayed overnight here on a mini getaway during scooter weekend (I am sure it has a proper name but as I'm not a scooter boffin apologies) the hotel was good value our room was clean, staff helpful and friendly the only thing I will say is that we were on the top floor with quirky bendy walls and floors, our...

Our stay was very comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. Nice double bedroom with very good view of harbour and town. Food very good served by very efficient restaurant staff. We enjoyed the view of the harbour at night with all the lights lit.

I was there for a long weekend. The food was good and the service friendly. There are plenty of places to sit and relax, some in smaller side-lounges. The terraces have the best views of the bay in Scarborough. We had a shuttle bus (perhaps just for our group?) into the town city as the hotel is on a headland....
