We stayed at this lovely hotel for two nights a week ago. Every thing about it was superb. We had a lovely room at the front which had a sea view, lovely comfortable bed, tea making facilities with lovely shortbread biscuits. Our family joined us for Sunday lunch which was excellent. We had dinner on the second night which was...

I stayed here for two nights. It was a wholly delightful experience but I would single out the excellence of the staff as the hotel's outstanding feature. The dining was first-rate, and as a solo diner I was particularly pleased to find several half bottles on the wine list. I cannot wait to return!

The hotel is very well maintained with comfortable beds and very clean rooms. It is made special by the quality of the staff. All staff, reception, concierge and restaurant, were attentive and helpful, while remaining unobtrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed there for a family anniversary meal which was excellent - compliments to the chef.

The food throughout our stay was exceptional, we could not fault anything. On our arrival the sun was shinning so we managed to sit on the patio, with a bottle of...

Just returned from a memorable experience, I was asked expected time of arrival and was shocked to be met by Concierge before I could even stop, he unloaded and parked car in garage, and returned it when required. Fabulous friendly reception from Julie and new girl Karen. All staff including restaurant and bar trained to perfection. Would describe it as...

An all too brief but still a particularly memorable stay. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a friendly greeting and checked in quickly and efficiently. Car parked and what little luggage we had was whisked away and taken to our room; a great sea view and very comfortable - all the extras included and spotlessly clean throughout. We enjoyed great...

I've stayed here a couple of times this year including the weekend before Christmas. This hotel is the best located hotel in Sidmouth with a fantastic view of the sea. The rooms are a good standard, they are immaculate, incredibly clean. The food is always very good, from sandwichs at lunchtime to dinner in the evening. The staff can't be...
