I was lucky enough to stay for a couple of nights and was the only guest so was given the Garden Room. When I arrived to the sight of horses looking over stable doors I was well and truly in my element and loved the fact that my room overlooked both the yard and the beautiful views across the countryside....

A truly delightful family home set in the beautiful Devon countryside and just 15 minutes drive from the breath-taking Devon coast. It is not tucked down a narrow lane making it very accessible and a joy not to have to negotiate the narrow lanes. The front of the property is essentially just for the guests with views out to the...

We stayed at Lancercombe farm on a Sat and Sun night. Beautiful warm weather. We were welcomed on arrival by Nicola who offered us a pot of tea. When it arrived also on the tray was a cream tea for the two of us. Very nice thought and very tasty. We had a very peaceful nights sleep on a very...

We stayed for a long weekend to join friends for a walking holiday. The farm is very relaxed and peaceful. After an excellent cooked breakfast Nicola filled our flasks with fresh tea to see us on our way. The farm is in a beautiful location, the perfect place to unwind after a full day of coastal walks. Nicola also very...

One of the criteria that I apply to staying away from your own home is that if the place you are staying in isn't nicer and more comfortable than your own home, why are you bothering? In the case of Lancercombe Farm it is so lovely and beautiful and comfortable that you wish your own home was just like it....

Me and my fella stayed here for 3 nights this week and have to say I'm very glad we picked this B&B. Nicola and Simon were very very welcoming. We felt like we were straying with some friends! They were so kind and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms are lovely! Nice and roomy, with an en suite bathroom....

Very relaxing atmosphere and excellent accommodation. Attention to detail shows that Nicola values her visitor's experiences. The lounge was a lovely room with a great log fire . The farm is well organised and there is a lively atmosphere in the stable yard.

We hugely enjoyed our visit to Lancercombe Farm in March. It is such a beautiful house and setting and it is amazing to see all the work that has gone into restoring it over the years. Nic and Simon were really lovely - very warm, welcoming and accommodating - tea and cake on arrival was a great treat! We stayed...

This was a second visit to Lancercombe - our first was for a couple of nights after moving our son into Halls at Plymouth University at the start of his 3-year degree course. Four years on, our son still resides in Devon and we took the opportunity to meet up with him for a relaxing, weekend break at Nicola and...

We had a family wedding in Sidmouth and wanted to stay somewhere that was tranquil and lovely and this was certainly it. Nicola also made us feel very welcome on arrival with a lovely pot of tea and cake before we headed off for a busy evening of preparation. The atmosphere they have created in this house makes it a...
