This place took a bit of finding as my satnav tried to send me down a dead end that would have left me the other side of a small river to the guest house, so check your directions carefully. However, once there I was welcomed by the host and shown to my lovely room. It was cosy and comfortable and...

Stayed here for one night & cannot fault our stay at all. Warm welcome, gorgeous room & location to Dunham Massey was great. Breakfast was one of the best we have had & we will definitely be back again soon. Pub next door was lovely too.

My partner and I made a spontaneous booking and we were not disappointed. We stayed in the double room with extra large bed- which we learnt later had been hand carved by the owner 30 years ago. Everything spotlessly clean. Complimentary sherry and cafetière in the room really made this place special. An absolutely beautiful building. Breakfast was gorgeous with...

The owners of this place have thought of everything to make your stay super sumptuous. Comfortable bed, tastefully decorated room, high quality toiletries, extensive breakfast menu, log burner in breakfast room, proper jam, fruits, cereals etc.....,I could go on but it was excellent all round. I'd like to back for a weekend and be able to have more time to...

I'm notoriously picky, but simply can not fault Ash Farm. Arriving on a dreary afternoon, the warm reception and home was very welcoming indeed. Host David's kindness and hospitality - rare these days - was hugely appreciated too. At breakfast, for instance, he couldn't do enough for me. Aside from the delicious, plentiful breakfast - all top-notch ingredients - the...

An excellent country guest house in peaceful rural surroundings. It has plentiful car parking and is situated right next door to a cosy country pub serving evening meals. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Spotless modern en-suite shower and toilet. Warm and cosy resident's lounge and breakfast room with a wonderful cooked to order menu selection much better than in...

Just got here this evening. Owner could not be more welcoming. What a beautiful country hotel and the rooms are so nice. In a quiet location not far off the beaten track and next to a country pub with the best food and service.

Close to Manchester but a world away, a beautiful house in peaceful rural surroundings with a great pub right next door. The room was very comfortable with good facilities, complimentary tea and coffee of a high standard and a decanter of sherry was a very nice touch. The bed was comfortable with an array of different pillow combinations to suit...

This guest house was a dream. We had the Garden Room, which was adequate for all of our needs. It was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. On opening our curtains one morning, we looked out onto a lovely garden with a beautiful tree not far from our window and a squirrel going about its business. What a stunning sight to...

I travel for work, I have done for almost 30 years. I have had many disasterous experiences with poor quality guest houses and B and B I go to the Macdonalds, Hilton, Raddison chains for consistency. Nothing near where work was this week so went to Ash Farm. It was excellent. All aspects, every detail, made it feel warm, homely...
