Is it open or not? Cannot find any information about hotel or restaurant. Used to be a wonderful place for a special meal. No information available as far as I can tell when it will reopen after the devastating fire.

Don't be put off by the reception area which is pretty dire.However the reception by the staff is warm & friendly.The food is excellent & this alone is worth a visit. Nigel & Fiona Franks also run a good cafe in the old railway station...More
