Came here for mothers day, for a spa day and afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was terrible!! Sandwiches had bits of crusts on the end where they hadnt been cut correctly, chunks of beef and gammon about 1/2 inch thick (obviously left from the carvery). Cakes!!!! if you call a custard slice cut in 2 and 2 broken off bits...

Nice hotel. Didn't get chance to use the swimming pool. There was a hen party on that night but didn't hear anything from our room. Didn't have breakfast. Had the 4 posted bedroom which was a nice touch and comfortable too. Would stay here again.

Me and my husband stayed here on the 11th March for one night which was booked through motor depot as a free night stay. I would honestly not pay the £104 a night for the room we stayed in. We was on the top floor right at the end and it was the smallest room we have stayed in. You...

This hotel is modern and convenient for the Town and is fairly close to the M1. It seems to have a lot of functions so noise can be an issue as can finding where breakfast is being served. Our room was ok but again we has issues with the noise, seemingly because of thin walls. On a more positive note...

We chose the Carlton Park Hotel because of the facilities offered as we had our 6 year old granddaughter with us. The hotel had functions on both nights that we stayed which were noisy - even from our room. Breakfast the first morning (Saturday) was stone cold and therefore inedible - presumably this was served in the Regency room due...

Stayed here overnight for a nearby family do. The hotel is tired and dated. In desperate need of an overhaul and investment. I can imagine it was once looking glorious but those days are far gone. Our bedroom 4 poster bed was dusty and dirty and our toilet didn't work. Room felt stuffy and was very warm - no air...

Brilliant hotel worth every penny. Arrived for a two night stay and we loved every minute. The rooms are large with a bath/shower ensuite. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the spa facilities, honestly the best jacuzzi I've ever been in, ferious bubbles and sooo warm! The sauna wasn't absolutely boiling but was perfect for my needs. The rooms are extremely...

We had a room with a four poster bed (extra cost) the room was starting to show it's age but not too tired either. The room was missing bathroom hooks for towels. The room was nice and warm with a comfortable bed. The bar area is welcoming with a good range of beverages available. The leisure facilities are very clean...

Hi,

I 've booked to have a meal on the 4th April 2015 for my parents wedding anniversary. I've been twice to try and change the date, but on both actions , person dealing with the bookings was unavailable. In a meeting are was unable to attend the desk. I left a message on reception , to cancel the 4th April and to rearrange the date for 25th April , if possible , please. Can you please let me know if this was changed.many thanks Mrs L Walker
