On this occasion I decided to have my evening meals at the hotel and can say that the food was good and plentiful. The hotel is very well...

Arrived at 11.30PM as myself and my colleague had been working at the theatre over the road. I called at 6PM to confirm our late arrival. Everything was OK. Until we arrived and was was greeted by the most rudest of men. He as an elderly gentleman who informed us he could now sell our room if he wanted to,...

Easy to find with parking on CCTV in the parking area. Yes a wonderful friendly hotel, art deco all around, but it was nice and made me feel comfortable, nothing to much trouble for Ross the Manager, he knows your names, remembers past guests and is so helpful. Breakfast was very filling and as much tea or coffee as you...

Had a five day stay at the County Hotel, a little old fashioned but very, very, clean and tidy. The bedroom and bathroom were kept clean . The meals were very good with plenty to eat. The staff were very helpful and keen to get you anything you required. Would stay again. It also has a very quirky lift.

There was good entertainment on two of our four night stay. ( aimed at the over 60s which suited our coachload.) The hotel is only...

My husband and I had a very short break at County Hotel. The art deco features are right up my street. We stayed in room 32, tea and coffee making facilities were available, decent selection of towels in the clean bathroom. Comfy bed and a sea view. We will definitely be back
