We booked the Tudor Lodge so that we could visit family who were staying nearby. We had looked at all the reviews and none of them gave less than 4 stars but this is a 5 star B and B . Alan and Cath made us really welcome from the start. The room that we had was on the ground floor and it was a beautiful room with twin beds. It was very comfortable. The shower room was ensuite and was suited to the room. The breakfasts were brilliant- full English with eggs, bacon, tomatoes, beans and plenty of toast- lots of coffee and tea. Nothing was too much for both Alan and Cath who made sure that we enjoyed our short stay. It was really good to chat to them particularly after being out all day. We would come into the b and b and relax with a beer and wine. Great conversationalist! Such busy proprietors of an excellent business. We would unreservedly recommend the Tudor Lodge and we are sure to use it again to visit the area. Thank you Alan and Cath. You treated us like family and that is how we felt when we left- like family!
