Friendly, helpful hosts, who went out of their way to satisfy our requests. Clean, comfortable bedroom. Tasty breakfast served in a delightful dining room. Parking in the grounds. Very conveniently located for exploring the beautiful town. We will definitely be returning!

Very friendly welcome and comfortable room overlooking St George's church - nice and quiet too. Feels like staying with friends - and includes lovely breakfast. The setting is perfect for wandering round Stamford and there are plenty of eating options. We shall definitely come again.

A genuine warm welcome for bed/breakfast in a family home with nothing too much trouble by the hosts. Very comfortable bed and room, with hospitality tray and hairdryer available. This is my second visit and I would recommend 16 St. Georges to anyone who is looking for accommodation in the center of town in a comfortable, relaxing and amiable environment....

I have stayed at 16 St. George's square a number of times and have always been warmly welcomed and looked after by attentive hosts who provide all kinds of personal touches you don't get in a hotel. Wonderful location overlooking St. George's Church and gardens. The charming little gargoyles that look across at you from the church are a bonus.

We have stayed here several times and have always been made to feel very welcome. It is a lovely old house in an excellent location in central Stamford and the accommodation is spacious and comfortable. There is parking at the rear by arrangement which is a bonus in the centre of town.

The rooms are on the first floor overlooking St George's Church. The rooms are big and there is a wash basin in the room with the shower next door which is shared with the other guests but not with the family as they use the other bathroom on the same floor. Stamford is a lovely place very easy to walk...
