Just stayed the one night but was given a warm welcome by Galina , lovely little b&b near enough to town to walk. We had on suite double room , spotlessly clean, very comfy bed smashing full English breakfast with cereal, yogurts fruit salad if required. Not the biggest room in the world but did us fine and for the...

The B&B is a smallish victorian semi on a main road. Our twin bedded room, with a good size bathroom next door, was clean but on the small side. When we arrived, there was a smell of stale cooking that permeated everywhere. The decor was very tired, the lighting on the dim side and there were lots of notices telling...

Travelling on my own I found this place very late on a travel website after deciding that my initial place was too far from the wedding that i would be attending in nearby Barrowden, so glad that i did. From the warm welcome to the tranquillity of the settings and surrounding area i knew that i would get my much...

Stayed here to go to Tolethorpe open theatre. We had a good nights sleep and a good full English breakfast. The garden room was good as all of us could sit in there and have a chat. Although our room did not have an ensuite, we were provided with robes though as it was only just outside our room and...

We had a 2-night mini break in Stamford and decided to try Gwynne House B&B, It's about 15 minutes walk from Stamford bus station and town. Our hostess Galina was very welcoming and gave us a map of the town and pointed out where various places were. Our room was compact but very clean and looked recently decorated, it overlooked...

We were able to rest wonderfulley at Gwynne House. The room was cozy, the bed very comfy and clean and the view from our window into the beautiful yard was very relaxing. The next morning, our lovely host Galina served us a hearty breakfast. It was a nice mini-vacation in Stamford.

Very comfy and friendly place - a guesthouse experience just as it should be! Family run and hands-on - you choose your breakfasts slot, which you take looking over the garden. Great for exploring the town too.

Galina our host was so welcoming on arrival and helpful with information about Stamford. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble. Her son made breakfast for us the next morning and was so friendly. Stamford town is a few minutes walk away and is delightful. Wish we had a longer stay and would certainly recommend Gwynne House.
