I stay away with work on a regular basis, sorry but staying here was not a pleasant experience. No receptionist when I arrived, a note said go into the bar for help. A young gentleman greeted me at the bar and then walked me back to reception was flummoxed when I said I'd only just literally booked (thanks storm Doris)....

I came for a night out for a friends birthday, the usual sour faced staff but that aside was a really good night out & catch up with friends. The live band & disco room give a good range of music. It was abit quiet but was only a Friday night.

Perfect place to stay if you want to get out of Birmingham city centre, but at the same time have everything you need just outside the door. Loud music during weekends until 3 in the hotel pub/club a good venue for people young at heart around age 20-40. Great staff. Rooms ok, I could do with higher water pressure in...

Talking to the rest of the visitors in bar everyone was moaning. The bar staff were extremely slow as too busy playing on their phones. Shame as the...

I booked here as I was attending a funeral wake in one if the function rooms, received an email straight after booking to warn me that my room was over the bar area so I came prepared with ear plugs! I found it easy to park, it's pay and display but free after 4pm - and if guests buy a...

Went to the Royal for our works christmas party. The Assembly Room used for the party was beautifully decorated and was perfect for what we needed. We had buffet food which was tasty, a mix of cold and hot finger foods. I stayed overnight in a room. The room was clean and tidy although had a slight smokey smell on...

I stay in hotels on average 4 nights a week and can put up with quite a lot! This is the worst I ahce ever stayed in, over priced hell....the final straw being confronted by an angry faced cheff at breakfast saying "you want food" ...yes please....then came "what you want then" by the way no menu! £105 for two...
