Decided to write this review while lying on my bed in this hotel and must say I would never return here as it's so dreary and dirty. The room is just so dreary as it's all different shades of cream and yellow and the same in the bathroom. The wall lights don't have any shades on them, the telephone in...

I spent the night in the hotel at a public event. Check in was very quick and painless, and I was given a room at the top of a quirky old staircase. The room was extremely comfortable, although I was told the hotel is about to undergo a refurbishment programme to brighten it up slightly. An excellent dinner for around...

Just being short. The location is very nice and the hotel would be also if it was 50 years ago. We were with 4 people so 4 rooms . One room was in the attick, the shower was about 50 cm high and a very week beam and after 3 minutes the hot water was over. The other room had...

Dear patjatje I am sorry to read that the hotel did not meet with your expectations on this occasion. The Brook Marston Farm Hotel is not a modern generic property but the former farm house retreat of Sir Robert Peel. Given the rich history and association that the building has , Brook hotels have tried ensure the decor compliments this....

We were in the Midlands for a family birthday and needed a local hostelry to rest our weary heads. There seemed to be a bit of a run on beds locally over this May weekend so we ended up at Brook Marston. Finding it is a bit of a challenge down a long country lane with a motorway for a...

Dear Classiccarguy Thank you for posting your thoughts and comments followed your recent overnight stay with us at The Brook Marston Farm Hotel . In fact the name of the hotel is derived from its use as the country home retreat of Sir Robert Peel , who I am sure you know served twice as Prime Minister of the United...

First thing not great to arrive to a queue to check in although was 6.30pm so guess busy. Apparently internet so slow rejecting everyone's card. I'd prepaid but only one person on reception so stuck in queue waiting to get in. Next - walk into room, its May, its sunny, the room is a boiler - heating on full blast...

2 night stay with buyagift.com with meal first night. Arrived Friday pm to be shown to a lovely old traditional english room. Had a nice dinner in restaurant with a great choice of foods. Enjoyed our evening in the bar, with only a few other guests. Saturday went out walking locally through Kingsbury water park which was literally across the...

booked in with a buyagift voucher. Nice receptionist Marie gave us our room key. Hotel was run down but we were ok with that initially. Room smelt funny. We had an early reservation for dinner so around 4:30 we tried to have showers - no hot water. Went to reception where a very rude man told us "no-one showers at...

A comfortable, quiet and welcoming hotel for a business trip. The lovely couple running the kitchen and restaurant were very accommodating at breakfast and were able to source gluten free toast.
