We had a great stay in the Coach house cottage it was a real home from home and made a difficult time much better that we expected. We had traveled back to Taunton for my mothers funeral and to help my brother an sister in law clear our family home. The Coach house is very spacious and has been modernised... More

Had one night here en route to Devon and one on our return. The first room had a delightful four poster bed and a lounge area so it was more like a suite. The second on our return was upstairs and even bigger, sporting a 7ft bed! Very nice breakfast and friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay... More

Just came back from a lovely weekend down in Taunton, stayed at October lodge and it was beautiful. We were the only couple staying and the hosts were lovely. Was a bit tricky to find the car park tho. Our room was amazing. We stayed in the luxurious suit and wow!! We was welcomed to a 7ft bed which was... More

Excellent stay. Large room with big bathroom. Breakfast great. A lovely young man was our host. Would definitely stay here again. Very close to Taunton center. The Lodge has a lot of character. A big garden which anyone can use. Free parking which is a bonus.

My wife and I stayed for two nights recently. We arrived early but found the proprietress very accommodating and she immediately finished off getting the room ready for us. Within 15 minutes we were being shown it. We found it clean, large, airy, pleasantly decorated and well-lit in the evening. The bathroom seemed as large as some hotel rooms in... More

A delightful little place to stay. Generous-sized room (particularly the en-suite bathroom). Well-run and extremely pleasant owners. Worth staying at and great value for money. Not only that; you've got the Queens Arms at Pitminster (about 5-10 mins' drive away), will satisfy your hunger needs.

Absolutely loved our one night stay here, drove straight past it at first as the entrance is hard to spot and isn't signposted but once we arrived which was around midday, we were lucky enough to be able to get in to our room early, which was great. I booked a standard room but was pleasantly surprised when checking in... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and we're delighted with our accommodation. We had read a poor review and thought of cancelling, but what we found was a lovely establishment with beautiful gardens. Our room was clean and comfortable, and Lisa and her family made us very welcome. One tip if you are going there, make certain... More
