The hosts could not have been more hospitable and friendly and their cottage a delight. The accommodation was all you needed and the breakfast delicious. I would certainly stay again - even had space to store our bikes over night.

Lovely place to stay. Very friendly and we were well looked after. The breakfast is to die for and came with their own produce (can't get fresher than that!). Very clean and comfortable accommodation and the attention to detail to make everything feel special was wonderful. We will definitely stay here again.

The children and I stayed for one night so we could attend a work reunion nearby. I felt very well looked after, and so did the children. Barry and Pauline were on hand to help with directions etc, and also acted as taxi service for us, picking us up from the party and driving us "home". Lovely breakfast too. It...

I don't write many reviews but Barry and Pauline deserve this. A beautiful location and very comfortable and clean accommodation. Barry and Pauline went out of their way for the children, we played with the animals, played with the toys and Pauline went over the top cooking them a delicious dinner followed by ice-cream. The kids called it the best...

My family and I were attending our eldest daughter's wedding in Taunton. We booked the B&B accommodation for two nights for ourselves, and the attached annex for my elderly mother, who needs ground floor accommodation and a walk-in shower. The house and annex are picture postcard perfect, both inside and outside, and the location is a beautiful sleepy Somerset village,...

I needed to stay just one night, to visit relatives nearby. The welcome was very friendly - even from the chickens - and the breakfast delightful. You couldn't wish for nicer or more thoughtful hosts. Only a few minutes from main roads, but a real feeling of being "out in the country".

Barry and Pauline created the most relaxing environment for our family to stay whilst we attended a wedding in the area. The children had a ball in the gorgeous gardens, feeding the hens and pigs and playing with the array of children's toys and games. Pauline not only prepared delicious and healthy snacks, dinner and breakfast but also gave us...

We stayed at Halse Water Cottage for a week in July whilst our son was playing cricket in Taunton. The property is beautiful and we stayed in the B and B whilst our friends had the self catering cottage. The weather was amazing and so we spent a lot of time sitting out in the evenings (after a hard day...

Barry and Pauline go out of their way to make you feel very welcome. Home from home comes to mind as you enjoy a private part of the place to yourselves. The house is as spotless as they are charming.
