The Plantation is a beautiful new pub, upgraded throughout by the Upham Group in classic colonial style that will offer superb food, great real ales and luxury accommodation in 10 smart, modern en-suite guest rooms. Formerly the New Beehive, our inn is conveniently located close to the village of Canford Cliffs, within the Poole conservation area and just a short drive from Bournemouth. On the nearby beach you'll see some of the oldest beach huts in Europe, dating back to 1927. Also nearby are the world famous Sandbanks and Branksome Chine blue flag beaches and we're really close to the famous Compton Acres which has some of the most beautiful gardens in Europe. With the largest natural harbour in Europe on our doorstep and the beautiful New Forest only 30 minutes' drive away, The Plantation is located in a fantastic place to visit. And, of course, you'll always be assured of a warm welcome as you join us for a few drinks and a delicious meal, featuring lots of fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.

Hi, Thank you for your review, we are glad to hear that you all enjoyed your stay with us, it is a funny time of the year where we have to keep the heating on otherwise the conservatory cools down very quickly which is always a popular place to eat. Once again, many thanks for your feedback. Lee

What is the parking situation at the plantation?
We didn't have a problem. The Plantation is also a pub so it's not just guests who park there but we managed to park easily.

I don't think it is. Have a look at Ppole History Online and search for Canford Cliffs Hotel - it looks nothing like The Plantation. It's much larger and perched on the cliffs - The Plantation isn't.
