So there are positives about staying here, the staff are really friendly and helpful, the breakfast is great, and the room decor was lovely. However there were quite a few really big flaws. The shower was appalling, they called it a monsoon shower head but it was barely anything at all. I didn't feel clean or like I got the...

The hotel is a lovely little find. Tucked neatly in a very quiet residential area not far from the beach (which I didnt get to enjoy because of the rain) however upon arrival I was upgraded to the most beautiful room on the ground floor which Chris explained was his "bridal suite". Had the most amazing bed and furniture in...

Stayed between Xmas and New Year and weather not clement so not ideal for beach activities but is in an excellent location for beach. Situated on a quiet road with adequate parking. Bus stop outside for Bournemouth and Swanage. Walking distance (about 20+ mins) to Westbourne for interesting shops and restaurants. Lovely, comfortable lounge. Bedroom/bathroom very clean, big room and...

This wonderful establishment was an incredible surprise as we booked only for a stopover and wished we could spend more time here. It is tastefully decorated throughout, clearly by someone with a very good eye, as nothing feels cluttered. It is absolutely spotless everywhere and the lounge is very inviting, especially if you are looking to have a night cap...

Our stay was in the quiet time between Christmas and New Year so our comments may not transfer to a high season which will, of course be much busier. We also had a private appartment which was a different experience from staying in the main hotel. Location: Very nice, quiet location which is far enough away from the centre of...

If you are looking for a stay in the Poole/Sandbanks area, then this is the place for you. A very quiet area very close to the beach. The bedroom and and bathroom were excellent. The lounge was extremely invitingly cosy and warm and the breakfast room was rewarding with a good quality English breakfast. This is a better choice if...

We had a fantastic stay, the place was BEAUTIFUL. I don't normally write reviews but Grovefield Manor deserves the praise. It has been tastefully decorated, it's clean, warming and spacious, all the little things have been thought of and it has a relaxed yet attentive environment. Thank you Chris and the team, we will definitely return.

Needed a hotel overnight to attend a friends party locally. This seemed very reasonable so we were not expecting too much. What a delight. A beautiful old building that has been decorated with great taste and kept all of its lovely features. Room and bathroom were gorgeous and the owners charming. A full english was included, which was freshly cooked...

Unfortunately we only stayed there overnight before our ferry the following day. It was so much more than we expected and the manager was very nice and informative about places to eat in the area. The room we stayed in was beautiful and comfortable and everything about the place was just lovely. Thoroughly recommend and I hope to go back...
