I've stayed here before and will cover the good things first. It's clean, breakfast is a good selection of hot and continental fare on a help yourself basis. room is basic but what you would expect. The desk staff were welcoming - and took the trouble to advise of a party going on until midnight in the function suite, which...

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for leaving us your feedback. I am sorry to hear your stay was not what it normally is. We will investigate any noise issues if they are raised to us to prevent future disturbances. The light up sign outside is the same amount displayed at all times and shows the lowest rate available, but this is...

We have stayed in this hotel many times. It is clean and comfortable and has beds to die for, plus it is 5 minutes from the railway station, 5 minutes from Wetherspoons, for breakfast, although the hotel provides a restaurant if staying in is preferred. When visiting London we always stay in this hotel which is just a short train...

Stayed here overnight. Hotel was clean and basic. Very noisy with doors banging in the night. No free parking. But a local multi storey at a cost. At £43 the night didn't really feel it was value for money with no breakfast included. This was £8.95 extra.

From the moment we walked in I knew it was going to be a disaster hotel...the room was small smelt of mould peeling paint on the walls windows full of condensation..then from 5pm they had an African/Caribbean night in the function room on level 2 we was level 4 and couldn't hear the TV above the boom boom booming coming...

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate that as the hotel is from the 1970's it will begin to look a bit tired and we of course have plans in place to rectify this. All guests were made aware of the function at The Forum and I have since spoken to their General manager to ensure that noise...

Stayed for 1 night on a business trip, cannot complain! Friendly staff on check in and in the restaurant/bar, food is good and a reasonable price. Called prior to arrival to find out about parking as I appreciate that town center hotels do not have their own car parks, was given clear instructions so found the car park and hotel...

I found this easy enough to find and it is well located. It's pretty central to shops, pubs and places to eat so a good overnighter for practicality. Westgate multi story car park along side with reduced rate for guests (£4 overnight ) Pleasant receptionist was very helpful. Rooms are a little dated (woodchip painted walls) but were clean and...

After making a booking with another hotel with the Accord group, I found myself relocated to the Ibis late at night. The hotel is very hard to find at night, with pure visibility, and you have to utilise a local council car park as the hotel doesn't have its own. I found the room uncomfortable - very short bed (and...

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. I am truly sorry that you had to be relocated from the original hotel booked. I am quite surprised you weren't given detailed directions along with parking information at the time of being informed of your new hotel location. The beds are zip and link and are...

I can only but wish I took photos of this place. If you've watched American horror story then this it. Vile dirty carpet throughout hallways. The rooms have woodchip painted walls. And are not clean. We booked a double bed and it's 2 single beds with big sheet on! What is that. 2 doors down there was woman's knickers hanging...

Dear Reviewer, I would just like to clarify that the hotel is kept clean and maintained as much as can be for a hotel built in 1972. Although the beds are zip and link they are held together with a mattress topper not a sheet, you will find this in majority hotels nowadays. Further to this we do not allow...

We stayed as part of a large group which would test any hotel, however the service and efficiency was great. The hotel itself feels a little bit past it's best with a slight 80's/90's feel to the rooms however no issues with cleanliness or facilities. The restaurant/bar was great for pre and post party drinks with very patient staff. The...
