Excellent location, just off the A14, and very close to Ipswich town centre but beautiful outlook over the yacht marina. Just allow from here is the Orwell Bridge and lovely scenic villages along the river Orwell.

Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy upon arrival. Floors are very thin and footsteps and movement noises could be heard throughout the night from above rooms. You could hear conversations in the corridors and doors slamming. I was awake till 330am due to thi

Meets the usual standard of a good Premier Inn. Comfortable bed in a good size room. Bathroom was clean and towels fresh every day. Attached restaurant is a Beefeater and the food is OK - not great for gluten free diet. Heavy on the carbs too. Breakfast was better as gluten free

This was a convenient stop for a family visit. As usual Premiere Inn is what it is but slightly disappointing in terms here of the messy and not fully topped up self service breakfast in the Beefeater adjoining. So I have knocked a rating down one.Ipswich North was much better.

I stayed recently for the weekend at the Premier Inn South and sadly whilst I was there three cars got broken into and windows smashed plus a van too. It made me decidedly uneasy about my stay to be honest. On the wall clearly the signage states that cars are left at owners risk.

Hello, does anybody know if there is a bus stop nearby with easy access in to town? Equally - are the car parks in town reasonably priced and if so, would it be just as easy to drive in to town? Many thanks.
Yes bus stop nearby just opposite the petrol station. The car parks are reasonably priced but don’t bother driving into town as it is choc a bloc with traffic to even get into it! Bus is your best way in. You could try driving in but be prepared to wait in a queue. Saturday is definitely a no no.
