The house dates back 400 years or so and is full of character, our room was comfortable with ensuite toilet and shower and very clean. The proprietor, Sue was extremely helpful, even giving us a...

A top quality bed and breakfast facility in truly rural England. Nothing was too much trouble for a host Sue in her beautiful home on a working farm. A tasty traditional breakfast. Ensuite facilities. Tranquil spot.

You need your own transport to get the best out of this type of accommodation, which is either ‘B&B’ (our usual preference), or self-catering, and they can be anything from the older concept of ‘pin-money’ for the farmer’s wife to a modern ‘diversification’ for their farm business as a whole. With the former you tend to get mostly B&B rooms...

My mother and I visited here just before Christmas as a treat for her birthday. Such a beautiful bed and breakfast in really tranquil surroundings. The lady that runs it was so helpful, friendly and welcoming. I loved the decor and in every nook and cranny, there were little ornaments and literally, everything you needed was there (and more). There...

We were made very welcome straight away with tea in the garden, in the sunshine. The Farm was very old with great character, our room was spacious and very clean. Lots of little extras like...

Beautiful old farmhouse. Sue was wonderful. Breakfast the best I have ever had. Loved the chickens, ducks and geese. The spider scarers (conkers) in the room were a neat touch. Hope to return in the spring next year.
