Myself and 3 members of my family booked a table for a meal on a Friday evening. No problems initially, but when it came to the main meals, i had waited 15 minutes after the 3 other meals had arrived. After this time, i went up to the bar and politely informed the lady behind the bar that i was...

Stayed at the Sorrel horse for 2 nights in September. The room was clean and had all the facilities we needed. Breakfast was great, everything you could want on a plate. Dined in the pub one night. Again the food was good and plenty of it. Lots of parking space, large beer garden and friendly staff. Already booked for another...

We headed here as we wanted a late lunch, and a beer garden with play equipment (tick all those boxes). I ordered a steak and ale pie (on the specials board) and my other half was going to have the burger. The cheery bar tender said I'd made a good choice, so in fear of food envy, the other half...

We decided to go here for dinner for my mother-in-law as this used to be her favourite place to go. We booked a table for 7pm & arrived on time, being very busy the bar staff (inc landlord) looked very stressed & drained, it wasn't very welcoming to the customers & the landlord was very rude & arrogant when serving....

Smal but clean and tidy, good breakfast and had a good meal the night before. Will stay again when visiting family. A bit of a jaunt from Ipswich but easy to find. Stairs to bedroom check if you can't manage stairs

Typical old country pub , honest to goodness hearty home cooking, good choice of drinks, very family and dog friendly , log fire to keep warm in winter or a well kept garden with open views to sit in during nice weather. Friendly cheerful staff who are helpful, what more could one ask ? It's not a luxury establishment ,just comfy...

Your on a drive, looking for a pub and this is the type you dream of finding. Ample car park, kids outdoor play area. Quaint but not cramped inside. Good, honest pub food, reasonably priced. Fantastic staff - example, reserved us a table inside, we sat outside as kids played and then they came to let us know our food...

Booked in advance for Sunday lunch. The place was quite when we arrived so finding a table was easy. The food arrived promptly. I would highly recommend the sizzling 12 oz rump with homemade onion rings. Which arrived literally sizzling on its plate. Service was very good. Would come again if in the area.
