Just returned home from another stay at the Glenthorne, booked again for next year can't wait. Berwyn and Emma are the perfect hosts nothing is too much trouble. We have be coming here for the last 6years. The first time we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the rooms. Emma and Berwyn are lovely hosts. In fact we really look forward to seeing them every year. They are always friendly and helpful for ideas for places to visit. The breakfast and evening meal never disappoints.

Been going to the glenthorne every year for at least the last 12 years and it never disappoints. Berwyn & Emma are amazing hosts and will always go the extra mile to make your stay perfect, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spotless and tastefully decorated and the food is always spot on. I cannot recommend this guesthouse...

I know, I have reviewed the Glenthorne a number of times but, it still never fails to impress...We have recently returned from another visit to this wonderful town and another stay with Berwyn and Emma....They really are magnificent hosts, provide excellent facilities and wonderful food....Having the option of an evening meal is a great bonus and it really is quality...

Stayed at the glenthorne for several years stayed in quite a few of the rooms all are of high standard and tastefully decorated. The food is excellent with good choice the host Berwyn and emma are excellent hosts who can't do enough for you thoroughly enjoyable stay.
