The room we were given , was just as described on the website, no nasty surprises, well kept and well appointed. The only slight negative was how warm the...

My wife and I went here to escape the rain. We have a lovely few hours chatting and having cake and tea. Lovely cake, if not rather on the small side, but was top quality. We sat at the front of the hotel, great views of the sea and something nostalgic being in an old hotel having tea. The area...

The staff were exceptionally efficient and no request was ignored and completed immediately. We had a room on the fifth floor, with a large bathroom. The food in the restaurant on the whole was good but not up my standards for a two rosette hotel and...

Nice to see a classic seaside hotel doing so well. Our seaview room was fine at the price with adequate facilities. Dining in the bar was good, again with seaviews. Breakfast was outstanding with a good range of quality food and superb service. Well done!

We had an excellent time staying at the Imperial. Everything was first class, and the harpist, the sea view and the welcome from the seagulls on the window ledge each morning were added bonuses. We had dinner one evening because of the bizarre local habit of many restaurants closing on Mondays and Tuesdays, and this was a superb meal also,...
