What a lovely hotel to stay in. Tasteful decor. Coffee and tea in the bedroom. Fabulous freshly cooked breakfast, lots of choice. Friendly and attentive staff So handy for the town, the pier and The Great Orme. Love it here and will definitely return.
We booked a last minute winter get away with our little doggie. Arrived and were delighted with the hotel which was immaculate and tastefully decorated and an excellent spot with views right over the bay. Overall had a fabulous time and hotel was great we had room 105 with gorgeous views and plenty of room and I was delighted with the Elemis bath products and little touches like the coins for the slot machines (very sweet). Fresh milk and water daily again those little things hinge make all the difference…. Our only criticism was the greeting on arrival, literally not a word was spoken to us other than directions to our room . Nothing was mentioned at all in regards to breakfast etc we had thought it was included in our room. When going down for breakfast nothing was mentioned anywhere in regards to the cost etc only upon checking out we soon come to realise this was charged at an additional £30 per day. Website states included until end of March we booked via booking.com therefore didn’t realise this wasn’t included in our rate. Absolutely no problem to charge extra and the breakfast was beautiful…. We get food costs etc have sky rocketed, Lots of choice and presentation, quality of food was just lovely. That said we would of liked to have been given the choice and it would have been appreciated if this was explained to us on arrival….. away for 3 days it turned into an expensive trip when having to pay for 3 meals a day, it was nearly £100 on top just for breakfast. We opted out when paying the bill for breakfast on the final morning and just stopped for a bacon sandwich on the way home. Big thank you to the lovely lady who gave us a list of places to go that were dog friendly we absolutely loved the Kings Head and this really made our trip. We would definitely return just a couple of small niggles xxxx…
Enjoyed our stay at the Belmont Hotel lovely lounge/ bar area. Friendly welcome from Chris on reception, room although small had everything we needed for our stay, Very dog friendly made us all feel welcome. We have booked our return in April looking forward to drinks on the outside patio area, unfortunately we chose the wrong time of year to visit Llandudno the weather not the best to say the least. Well done all of you a very pleasant hotel and atmosphere Gill John Meg and Tuppy
A disappointing stay at The Belmont Llandudno. We originally searched online for a dog friendly hotel in Llandudno and decided to book The Belmont. We paid £330 for two nights stay on the 29th & 30th December. The room was disappointing as there wasn’t a en-suit bathroom. Just a freezing cold (un-heated) toilet with a very small vanity hand basin which was the only place to shave/ brush teeth etc as the shower was in a separate tiny cupboard and leaked as soon as turned on. The rear view was awful and had a huge noisy extracting fan directly outside the window that woke us up around 7:30am - this was nowhere near our expectations after viewing the hotels website.
Super location next to beach and pier also town shopping. Couldn't get a better location. A small modern hotel with tiny double room and small double bed so not comfortable and didn't sleep due to a dog barking in one of the rooms. The balcony with sea view was great. Staff were pleasant and lots of hot water in the tiny bathroom. Breakfast overheated and dry so left this. If the rooms were big enough it would be fantastic. Quite pricey to stay here at 116 per night.
This hotel was brilliant and that’s from a review where the stay wasn’t perfect. When ringing the hotel to ask about my dog a lady answered giggled and said wrong number (after 3 attempts to ring) I said I don’t think it is and she said hang on I’ll pass you to J***. At which J*** abruptly confirmed the booking and said he already knew there was a dog staying with me (when he couldn’t have). This made me uneasy to stay as a solo traveller however upon arriving I was greeted by a lovely lady at 5pm 21st December who went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and after an issue with the room a young gentleman (Chris?) then sorted this promptly as-well. I would now recommend the hotel to others (which I have) and would happily return but would definitely book a deluxe room with a sea view!…
Had a lovely relaxing 2 night stay over NYE with my partner and dog, the hotel is in a great location (worth opting for a sea view room!) and is beautifully presented. The staff were all so friendly, and the extra touches to make dogs welcome (sausages at breakfast in the dog friendly dining room, a doggy bag with bowl, blanket and waste bags in the room) really made it for us. A lot of places that sell themselves as dog friendly really just tolerate dogs, not the case here - they’re really pampered guests! Would definitely stay again, even just for the breakfast :)
Very nice room. We just got the standard but were not disappointed. Breakfast was nice and staff were helpful. I would stay here again. So close to the beach, shopping, and the pier. We thought parking would be a pain and it was. But we did end up fairly close to the hotel but I think we just got lucky.
Had to change our room as the one we were allocated stunk of dog. Other room had no heating despite temperature being minus 5 overnight. Another case of the UK at its worst. Staff were ok but we would not return to this hotel again.
Came for a nice weekend for our friends birthday the hotel is lovely and modern, has everything you need in the room, loved the bottle of Prosecco on arrival, one of the best places have stayed in in Llandudno. The staff was also lovely will definitely stay again.
