Attended a conference nearby, finding this hotel via Trivago/Booking.com. Very warm welcome, and the Owner Neil was very helpful, suggesting where to eat locally, etc. We had a room with sea view which was comfortable and pleasantly decorated. Breakfast was agreed for times that fitted in with our event, and were well presented. There was also some cereal and homemade... More

We booked the room at very short notice after being let down with a previous booking for Llandudno. It couldn't have worked out better. The room was spacious and comfortable with stunning views of the sea front. We were made to feel very welcome and Neil & Gill were great hosts. They took the time to chat and make sure... More

Had two nights here for a weekend break and have nothing but positive things to say. Stunning views of Llandudno bay from the Great Orme and pier along the promenade to the Little Orme, private parking, free WiFi, clean en-suite rooms, cracking breakfast and a great host in Neil. Very reasonably priced (I would bet that you can't get a... More

Shocked to see any negative reviews on here as we had a fabulous stay! We arrived to check in at around 6pm and were greeted by Neil, who was very welcoming and friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The place immediately had a lovely ambience (and smelt nice too.) The location is great at only around a 15 minute... More

Uncannily similar experince to the previous reviewer which i didn't see until writing mine! Was concerned when we pulled up, shabby paintwork and very rundown looking, compared to the run of similar hotels next to it , really so poor. Fears pushed aside we rang on the doorbell and knocked for well over 5 minutes to no avail and resorted... More

We arrived here late last Friday night. The hotel is in a good location, that's about all I can say positively about it. On check in the owner feels the need to give you a lengthy talk on how to open the door and what the 3 keys are for, where the bathroom is, how to use the tea and... More

We were lucky to celebrate our wedding anniversary in North Wales specifically in Llandudno. We stayed for 4 nights in Carmel Hotel. We arrived an hour early on check-in but our host Neil welcomed and checked us in. We were in room 5. It was a massive room that has a king size bed with a sea view. It was... More

We arrived mid evening and received a warm welcome from Neil, who is an excellent host. Our room (room 5) was situated on the first floor, with a large bay window, overlooking the sea. There were a table and chairs by the window, an excellent spot to watch the world go by but the best part was that you could... More
