A friend and I stayed here last week and it is a very good hotel, near the sea front, theatre and restaurants. Our visit included full English breakfast which was very good indeed and we had one excellent evening meal in the hotel. Otherwise we ate out in the evenings. The rooms were comfortable with big beds and the service...

I've been here with my wife for a 2 night stay. It was one of the few choices we had in eastbourne since most of the hotel doesn't have 24/7 checkin and we were departing from the continent after dinner time. Once arrived we were kindly welcomed and, assigned the Saffrons suite (I've booked a standard double). The room was...

We only stayed here while we attended a convention across the road. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. The room was lovely and big and comfortable. When we pointed out to reception that there was only 1 towel, the others were brought up very quickly and with an apology. Although we only had their breakfasts, which...

This is becoming a regular hotel for us, ideally situated for the town, seafront, theatre etc. Rooms always clean and well presented. Staff friendly and helpful and on the whole very jolly. Service in the restaurant is efficient and the food is of a high standard. On site parking available even though the car park is a bit tight for...

I visited today with my mother and lactose-intolerant son for afternoon tea. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my son could enjoy some dairy free treats. They were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this place.

I am not sure whether or not to let people know of this wonderful find in Eastbourne because I might discover that our favourite bolt hole is booked up. We have just returned after staying for the sixth time and the quiet ambience and service was as good as ever. The ensuite room was clean and well appointed as has...

This Hotel is one street back from the sea front. And has Onsite parking. Rooms are clean and tidy but a bit dated and need of some TLC, my room 1 window did not open, net curtain torn. Breakfast when it came was very nice, (scrambled egg, salmon on toast) but the steak the night before was edible but too...

Stayed here because of location opposite the Congress theatre and Towner art gallery. Excellent location and near to all facilities - shops, beach promenade, restaurants. However rather an old-fashioned hotel. Room was so hot it was uncomfortable. Breakfast had a lot of fried food and cereals and burnt croissants. Not much actual fresh fruit. And pretty poor coffee.

Went away as a couple for a weekend running along the SDW. The hotel is opposite a 60s style theatre and a minutes walk to the sea though without views in that direction. Lots of large lounges which were a little deserted over the weekend we were there, huge place! Breakfast is in the basement and is pretty good, both...
