Public areas comfortable with beautiful ceilings as is usual in an old Victorian hotel. Some refurbishment needed which would really enhance this hotel's charm. Right on seafront and near to town... Stayed overnight here on 20/11/2016 on Business. The room was great, and the staff were even better. They couldn't do enough for us from the moment we walked in. I have to mention 2 members in particular, Sandra on Reception and Martin, in the restaurant. They were both outstanding and a credit to the Hotel. The quality and quantity of... More

The hotel is in a brilliant location, overlooking the sea and close to the pier and town centre. Staff were so helpful and friendly, made you feel comfortable and welcome. The room we had was a great size, very clean and we had a fabulous sea view. The shower was amazing, so powerful didn't want to get out. The room... More

Yes of course this is typical Victorian style in need of revamp but what convinced me on the phone to book was the efficiency and professionalism of the receptionist Alina. Clear and ultra helpful. Then same re experience of dining room staff. Just shows how these days there are so few people like Alina around with that standard of customer... More

This hotel is on the sea front and from my side window I could see the sea and pier. My room was small but clean and adequate. Only one thing wrong, the shower head holder was broken and although reported, it wasn't fixed. I could shower by holding it but not easy. Food and choices was very good and ALL... More
