Offers easy direct booking at Horizon Mauritius or via AirB&B stay Mauritius. La Residence offers 3 Bedroom full service apartments with basement car park. All room come with en-suite bathroom and toilet a large dining area and living room with terrace. A swimming pool with sun beds are available. The sand beach is just 50m walk across the road. Surrounded by several restaurants Toparadis is highly recommend and a supermarket and dive centers in walking distance a bus stop just nearby gives you a lot of options. The management is very helpful with tour and rental car arrangements as well with airport transfers. It’s a great place to stay in beautiful Mauritius can only recommend this place to everyone.

First of all let me thank you in name of our family for all members- Hocko family for your hospitality. We needed to cancel our trip in March for some reasons and la residence offered us possibility to pick up new dates for our holiday we planned for so long free of charge. Once we arrived Mr. Zameer welcomed us and showed us the property. The apartment itself was literally huge, big kitchen and living room with Tv downstairs. On first floor to huge rooms both with private shower and same applies to third floor. Outside of apartment was beautyful garden and nice pool. Beach so as nearest supermarket was located very close-5 minutes by walk. We rented a car, which the stuff helped us with. Once we had a problem with a car again the stuff called to the car rental company and managed to get new car for us. Amazing service from their side. Also the very last day they allowed us to check out lately. I can sincerely recommend these apartments to anyone. Thanks again!

My boyfriend and I stayed at La Residence by Horizon Holidays for five nights in Mauritius and absolutely loved our stay! Our two-story apartment had everything we needed and more for the perfect vacation. We loved how we could walk right out from our deck to the pool and enjoyed waking up to our palm tree and pool view every morning from the master bedroom on the second level. Our king bed was so comfy! The property is just a short block and minute walk from a gorgeous beach, through a little sandy pathway across the street. It was very convenient that we were given beach towels by the property. Our apartment was cleaned spotlessly daily, we loved having the luxuries of a hotel while enjoying the space and comfort of a modern apartment. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The kitchen was fully stocked so we took advantage of making our own meals on several occasions and were grateful for the large grocery store nearby. There are also lots of options for restaurants nearby. Having a parking spot in a secured garage was helpful as well. Overall, we would highly recommend La Residence for the perfect holiday getaway!

very close to one of the best public beaches (2min). the appartments are very big and handy for a leisure and business trip. although the kitchen could be a bit more better equipped. ;-) but it still worked out just fine.

Just stayed here for a week with our daughter and another couple. The town house was PERFECT, catering for all our needs and gave us space too. Clean, quiet resort. A great locatio, with the beach only just across the road but only a short walk into Pereybere. The staff were excellent, informative and helpful at all times. I would thoroughly recommend BARNES Pereybere to holidaymakers. Thank you team.

We stayed here with our 4 small boys for the whole of December for our familymoon. Amazing place. Great location, clean town house. The maids were amazing, cleaned everyday, it was so lovely to not have to lift a finger. We had a laundry room so I could come home with all clean suitcases & just put away! Bonus!!!! All staff amazing, we ordered the breakfast basket & when our 4 boys (10-8-7-2) decided to be picky about what they liked & disliked the team listened & we only got things that the children were going to eat! It was my big birthday 22/12 whilst there & the staff sang to me, brought me a bouquet of flowers & a card! So thoughtful of them & much appreciated! Wendy organised all our excursions, she is amazing! She was always there at the other end of the phone to answer Q or sort things out for us! The private boats to the private islands were to die for! All amazing with our small boys too! The pool was clean & toasty warm like a bath! Only downside was the mosquitoes were lively! My husband & I were eaten alive for the whole month, sadly so much so we never enjoyed our veranda for breakfast or in the evening, we were inside with the doors closed & air con on high! We will def return! Great place, great location, great staff!

Dear Jo, Thanks for your warm review of your family stay at La Residence. Wendy and her team was pleased to be able to organise your 'family moon' and that the little attentions and excursions made your stay in Mauritius one to remember. Regarding the mosquitos, we spray once a month but there was some heavy rain at the time of your stay causing some additional guests all around the island. We hope to have the opportunity to hosting you again for your next family holiday. Thank you, Marion

It's a modern and very well-equipped house (incl. dishing and washing machines) at a good location in Pereybere, in walking distance to public beaches, restaurants and a supermarket (or by cheap taxi - ca 150 rupees). Note: Pavements and roadsides are sometimes lacking in Mauritius so be careful when walking, especially in the evenings. The place is a good starting point for excursions in Mauritius. You feel safe in the house because it's part of a closed compound with a 24/7 security guard. And no need to bring any electric adapters (unless you come from the UK). House-keeping is meticulous and daily and you can agree when it should be done at your convenience. The local managers at the compound are very service-oriented and you can book activities via them. We would recommend especially the catamaran trip with Topcat to the northern islands (Coin de Mire and Gabriel Island). We booked directly a car from Ara Tours and were satisfied with their service. Inside the compound there is a very beautiful and quite garden with grown-up palm trees and a swimming pool (about 20 m). There is no noise and you'll sleep undisturbed. A nice small beach (partly private since the beach as from the flow marks belongs to the house owners and no trespassing is allowed) is just opposite (note: you have to be careful when crossing the street and look out for the traffic). Nitzana, an excellent Indian restaurant, is just next to the compound but we also recommend Grill & Chill, a 15 min walk opposite the Pereybere public beach. To sum up, an excellent place which we gladly recommend.

We loved the outstanding natural, and often wild, beauty of Mauritius and its friendly people. The weather at this time of the year is a comfortable 20 to 26 degrees. We did not get much rain, only a few night showers. We hired a 7 seater and found driving on the island very easy. Most roads are in good condition, expect it to be rougher off the beaten track. Mauritius is small island; we were able to see all of it and we drove across and round it, often to see all areas and attractions as well as to shop. Pereybere is small but has a reasonable supermarket and small local shops and restaurants. A short drive takes you to Grand Baie with s much larger supermarket and many restaurants and much larger beach with activities for hire. The beach at Pereybere, although small, is very picturesque and the sunsets are outstanding. You can walk along to the right side of the beach to the next much larger public beach, which has fixed tables and seating areas under the trees and some simple hire equipment for activities on the beach. This is an easy and comfortable walk. You can also walk to the left of the beach to another bay, but this walk is a little more difficult as you have to go up and down rocks, although there are some lovely rock pools that children can play in on this side. We enjoyed our stay at this small apartment complex in July/August 2016. Pros: There were large comfortable and tastefully decorated bedrooms. Our apartment had a sufficiently equipped kitchen. The cookware was just enough for what we needed to cook and there was enough crockery and cutlery. We found the dining/living room area was roomy and had enough seating for our party of 6. There was also an informal snug with seating between the two bedrooms on the first floor. Maids clean the room daily and change linen/towels. There are good laundry facilities in the apartment. Wifi is available downstairs. A/C is available in the bedrooms. There is a fan in the living area. There are no additional utilities charges. The management staff are friendly and courteous and do try to accommodate your needs. The apartments all open onto the gardens which are beautiful and well- kept and we were told that they donor spray too much with nasty chemicals. There was a table and some chairs outside our apartment. Security on the site is vigilant and present 24/7. Apartments have a parking space assigned to them. The pool has some sun beds. Cons: We were given ONE key to the apartments; a family of 6 should have two keys as this limited us being able to go out separately and also caused an inconvenience when a key was temporarily lost. As the management are not present 24/7 and the security guard do not have spare/skeleton keys, we had to wait nearly 4 hours in cold, wet swimsuits in the dark until the management staff were able to arrive with keys. Of course, we suffered many mosquito bites during this period. Linen is changed regularly, but was not always spotless; management did address this after our complaints. However, you shouldn't have to complain about something like this. The wifi is weak and so does not reach the first floor or 2nd floors, which is a shame as the snug on the first floor could be used more if it did. A/C is not available in the living area on the days that we hit 26+ degrees, the fans in the living area were insufficient to cool the place down, even with the A/C on upstairs and doors open. There were some issues with hot water which was erratic. Management attempted to address this, but it was not fully resolved after a few attempts and we did not want to keep having the wait in for someone to look at it repeatedly. So we accepted never being able to use the bath as there was insufficient hot wate and I frequently showered in cold water on the 2nd floor. There are not enough sun beds around the pool for everyone to use. Some apartments look like they are privately owned and have old, shoddy looking furniture which doesn't look very nice. The pool does not have a shallow end and is not friendly to toddlers. Walking from the car park across the gardens at night will be a little tricky if you have difficulty walking. If these things were sorted out, this would be a 5star.
