Everything went very well. Donna, the host was absolutely amazing, super nice and helpful. Clean and quiet place, away from main road but still rather close to the beach. Exceptional value for money. Beautiful garden with plenty of green makes you feel closer to the nature, with very smart and elegant cat and 4 kittens! Cleaning lady surprised us by putting fresh and tasty local bananas in our room, after she saw that we brought by mistake and binned green and too hard bananas. A place to remember. Great location in the north of Mauritius which is in my opinion best part of the island.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at La Perla for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. Staff were very friendly and helpful, our rooms were meant to be cleaned every 3 days but we often came back everyday to a fresh clean room. Excellent location, Pereybere beach is just across the road and Winners supermarket a 5 minute walk away, there is an excellent Chinese restaurant just down the road too. I can't wait to return to Mauritius and would definitely stay at La Perla again.

The apartments are fairly close to Perryberre main beach and gives the overall area a nice vibe. Locals enjoying the time out with local food stores all over with decent food and cheap. We enjoyed the stay as the apartment is small, but has everything you want. Not the best equipped for making full fledged dinners, but supporting the local restaurants and food stores makes up for it. Very well priced and located in a decent area.

Great place, we loved the little apartment from the first night. Thanks to Donna for the warm welcome and thanks to Deevenah (hope I spelled that correctly) for taking care of the apartments so well. Everything is super clean and we were regularly asked when we want our towels changed, the room shall be cleaned or we would like some tips for the area. Even though there is no reception we could easily contact Donna via Instant messaging. The only remark we had is that the water heating for the shower was not working as expected. Either it takes really long to heat up or it changes temperature (same applied to other apartments in mauritius though!) One more thing that tells a story about this place: I broke two things ;-) A glass broke while washing the dishes and a plastic thing for washing. I offered to replace it or pay for both items, but that was no big deal. We didnt need to pay for it and even more surprised I was that the next day we came home after beach both items have already been replaced! …

went there for diving. highly recomandeble are the divebases in Pointe au Cannonier, Hotel Cannonier (ask for Sweety, the only course director on Mauritius) and in Pointe au Cannonier, Hotel Victoria (ask for Wilby). very prof Crew. were nominated as best diving centers of Mauritius. Same owner, so you can change the divesites and count your dives on same bill. (Discount)
