Very nice Lodge well situated opposite Pereybere Public Beach. Make sure the air conditioner in the room is working. We stayed 4 nights with air conditioning NOT working. They should have checked it before booking guests in. If it wasn’t for that, the overall rating would have been better.
The lodge is located >1 hrs away from the airport. Stayed here for 4 nights. It is located along a quieter alley but is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and supermarket. The staff is helpful with directions and booking of activities (if required). The room was spacious and clean and came with a balcony. Although there wasn't much view. The WiFi was strong as the router was just above the door. Overall, a very good stay.
I had a great stay with my family, the lodge is neatly clean, amazing cleaning staff very helpful always willing to help with a great smile, always having big smile and welcoming. Rooms are beautiful , bathrooms even better and morden, clean private kitchen Need not to say more, The admin staff amazing very helpful guiding you on places to visit that will Make a trip memorable. All I can say I enjoyed the North Mauritius a lot. Specially dedication to Kim, Ved and Selvana I love their enthusiasm it is such a refreshing environment. I'm definitely coming back with my family again.
Excellent value for money. Large room, AC, bathroom very clean, good breakfast (8-9 euro). Common kitchen and fridge available. Super location, 3 min to the Pereybere beach. Very friendly staff, always available, thank you Kim, thank you Selvana. And thanks to the lady that cleaned our room every day ! Airport transfer available.
An average stay. Room was modern but lights were very dim. A common kitchen but you have to clean everything if you want to use that. So good for crisis. Rooms were not so clean, no room service or no phone in the room. Very basic- no water bottles, no swimming pool, no onsite restaurant, no service. W supermarket is around 1 km away. Beach is nearby, bakery is nearby. We enquired about breakfast which was of 7 Euro per head- bakery items and canned juice which was way too high as per the standard of that. Overall there were no problems as such but was high priced for the services offered.
I stayed here for a week and it was a wonderful experience! Dodola lodge is well situated, in the heart of Pereybere, a popular tourist spot. The rooms are clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. If I were to return to Mauritius, I would stay here again. Highly recommend.
We stayed here for two nights for a wedding and it was comfortable, a great location in Pereybere and the rooms were a good standard for the price.it is close to the beach which makes up for the lack of pool.
Everything was perfect. Esp. compared with the price, I can not complain anything. My room was on the first floor and had nice balcony, so ants invaded my room on the first day. But the staffs treated it immediately, with the warm and nice attitude. Parking space is the best one for rental car driver.
I booked my stay at this lodge from April 20 to May 1 st. The staff Kim,Ved & selvana were very courteous . So was housekeeping. After a few days of stay I wanted to move to a ocean view hotel nearby & requested my booking be terminated earlier ie April 25 th. Since I gave the requisite notice I knew they would get a alternate booking & charge a nominal cancellation.Instead I was asked to pay for the remaining unused room in full by the management. I protested & wanted a cancellation amount to be applied. I was connected to Mary (Lang) on the phone & I explained the reason for my leaving earlier & suggested that a nominal 10% cancellation be applied on the remaining unused nights , Mary on the other end of the line had no respect to want I was saying & kept insisting on full payment & I asked her to reconsider the cancellation amount since I gave a notice to move out on April 22 nd.( all along the conversation she kept saying if i don’t pay then she will deduct from the staff members salary. I said that was unfair & I was having a reasonable conversation with her & asked her to share the owners details for me to negotiate, since she was threatening to deduct from the staff’s salaries. Mary refused to share the owners number & added that they live in the Caribbean & can’t be contacted. I asked for email address & she refused. Before closing the conversation I asked Mary to rethink & revert instead of agreeing to rethink she threatened me by getting the local police called since I was arguing for applying a cancellation fee. She did get the police over & when the police arrived they were quick to understand the situation & informed Kim who was present that I was making a fair request & that the management must heed to my request . When Mary realised the grave mistake committed by her by involving the local police she tried to calm the situation through Kim by first apologising to me & later negotiation the cancellation fee to 50% & later to 35% with I paid under duress ( it should have been 10%) Later the same evening I found out that they were all along overbooked & sold my room immediately to another guest , so basically no loss to the property yet an excess profit of 35 % by pressuring me to pay by involving the police. So my other wise nice stay was ruined by Mary (Lang)…
Wonderful place for a long staying. My room with a terrace was a home for me for 3 weeks and it was very good. Very polite and wonderful reception Team, as well as the room-service. Super location, 2 minutes from the paradise beach. I come again!
