My friend and I spent 2 nights in this hostel because we were interested in doing the Prejkestolen hike. It is a very clean hostel but quite noisy. We were given the twin room near the kitchen and the lounge and people kept banging doors all night and make noise in the kitchen. I think people should be able to...

The hostel is located in camping site , near the lake , quite far from the city center but it is nice and relaxing area. Room is a bit small but clean and I feel comfortable and had a good sleep anyway. There is a computer for any people to use. The common room is the same area for having...

I booked this hostel sight unseen because the reviews said it was near a lake. It was great! Very cheap, we had a twin room which was super clean with a sink. Bathrooms and showers were downstairs and also well kept with a laundry available. The lounge was a little loud into the evening due to Euro 2016 but we...

The room was fine with bunk beds and clean linen. The price is good for what you are getting, especially in Norway, but there was only one bathroom which created a line especially in the morning. The hostel is a bit out of the way of the city center but you can take the city bus rather easily.

The staff were extremely helpful in planning my different activities by providing maps, bus schedules, etc. Grocery store is right next door. Very quiet hostel with comfortable beds, and clean facilities.

We took a double bedroom and a breakfast which turned out to be pretty expensive 624KR in total for 2! Clean room except from smashed insects on walls. Good buffet breakfast with amazing Wasa bread! Toilets and showers were for both men and women, were clean but not in a huge number. Kitchen was nice and well equipped with a...

Affordable prices. Clean and quiet. I booked a twin room with private bathroom. The room was located 10 mins walking from the reception, in another compound (easy to reach). There is a guest kitchen well furnished in both the compounds. Location: 25 minutes walking from the city centre Linen included in the price.

After a horrible hostel experience in Bergen and an average one in Oslo, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of facilities and service here at Stavanger Hostel Mosvangen. Firstly the common areas were warm and welcoming, as well as clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. The bedrooms were awesome - I stayed in a four bed dorm, which had ample...

We slept here for three nights in July 2013. It is quite a big hostel, located nicely close to a lake some 3 km from downtown Stavanger. There are guest kitchens, TV rooms and the rooms are simple but clean. All in all, it's good value for money, which is also the case for the breakfast (50 NOK).
