Skuteviken is located well, a bit outside the city centre but within walking distance and there's a bus stop nearby. A charming street and the appartment is within a lovely wooden house, a typical Bergen house. The interior is charming, however too small and actually uncomfortable for larger people like us. I slept alone because the bed in the small... More

We had a great time staying with skuteviken for a short break in Bergen - it's really more a small apartment than a b&b. Owners were very helpful arranging to pick us up from the airport and pointing out things to do and restaurants to visit and made us feel very welcomed. The location is a 5 minute walk from... More

This is one of those wooden houses, behind the 10 minutes away by walk from Bryggen buildings. There are 4-5 apartments within the house. The host was very nice with great suggestions and even received us at the railway station. There are 2 rooms and a bathroom. 1 room has a kitchenette with induction stove, hot water kettle and adequate... More

Stayed at Skuteviken Guesthouse 25 - 29/06/2016 after Bergen Train journey from Oslo - which is a must do !. Collected from the Train Station by the owners - as agreed. Room was not the one requested and agreed, but was perfectly adequate, on the second floor. No toaster or microwave available though. Internet a bit patchy, except in the... More

Now, it's not really a B&B, since they don't serve breakfast, but it is pretty similar to one. It is located in a cute little neighbor hood where all the houses are really old and close together. The rooms are comfy, the bathrooms are nice, and the guy who owns it is really friendly. The free WiFi was a little... More

Beautiful charming place, close to Bergen Town center. The street is quiet, and the neighbourhood contains of lovely white wooden houses. The Staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was organised as a flat, with bathroom, cooking opportunities and television. I will recommend this place!

We arrived in Bergen fairly late in the day after our Norway In A Nutshell tour. Our host, Eivind, kindly picked us up from the train station and drove us back to the guesthouse. Eivind and Solveig were wonderful hosts and showed us some great places to eat and a shortcut into town. Our apartment was lovely and clean, and... More
