The Anker Hostel definitely does its job as a hostel - you have everything you need, a clean room, a bathroom and a little kitchen unit. The staff is friendly but seems a bit "cold" just like the rest of the hostel which was totally fine by me since I just stayed here for a few days with a friend...

I stayed here during a 3 day visit in Oslo. I was surprise that my room has a kitchenette inside: so practical when you're travelling on a budget. The bathroom is also in the room. My room was big, but has no lockers or space for leaving our luggage. But, it wasn't neccesary because the room was big enough for...

There aren't too many hostels in Oslo, however this one is a reasonable priced one. Location is good even though the feel is more like a hotel. The stay was comfortable, the staff friendly and they have an awesome terrace bar where you can sit and chill with a few beers !!

I was in a room for 8, the place was clean enough, with a bathroom in the room and basic kitchen amenities. Walking distance to the city centre. Poor wifi, very unstable. You have to pay NOK 50 extra for bed linen, unless you bring your own. The reception area is a bit misleading though, the rest isn't that modern...

I stayed here for my first visit abroad to a foreign country (sure as hell picked an expensive city to visit) on check in though, I met a lovely young American girl who helped me out with things to do locally, hot spots in the city and other info. She provided paper guides and maps too! My room was basic,...

This hostel is cheap (by Oslo standards) and located very centrally; you can walk to the central rail station in 15 minutes, or to the parliament of Norway in ten. Other than that it's pretty ordinary; the rooms are functional but spartan and very modestly equipped. A nice bonus for budget-travellers is that there's both a fridge and a mini-kitchen...

Helpful staff easy stsrt point to see oslo by train or bus. Haussman gate bus and tram stop is just outside the building. Great kebabs nearby for late night dinings. Rooms are spacious and comfi. Not much affordable choices in oslo. Anker is the most practical though agoda.

눉Very basic facilities. We slept in dorm with a person staying a long time and he snored heavily. Got no sleep. People living in, should have their own rooms. Expensive considering other hostels. Been in 20 hostels around the world. Generator hostel in Stockholm was lovely. 눇Nice water pressure in shower.

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights in an 8 person dorm. We had a good experience. The price is really great for Oslo for what you get. We paid for linen for me but that doesn't bother me. I liked that our room was spacious. The room had a kitchen which was convenient but did get slightly noisy...
