Anker hostel was not expensive and it was in perfect location, very easy to find from the central station. I walked everyday to the town centre and around Oslo, but if you are little lazy or have no time, the tram station is right by the hostel basically and both stops each way offer many places to eat and drink,...

Stayed here for one night in the 8 bed room. There were only 2 other guests in my room. You need to either bring your own bed linen or rent theirs, plus a towel. Duvet provided wasn't the cleanest so I swapped it. There is a basic electric hob and saucepans you can borrow with a cash deposit. There's also...

First let me say this is NOT a hotel so please don't go there expecting hotel standards, this is a hostel. Now that said we had a private room with an en-suite bathroom. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The place felt very secure and safe, we stayed only for one night and for that it was...

The hostel is nice. Receptionists are welcoming. Bathrooms could be alot cleaner and they need barriers for the water to stay in the shower area because water ends up everywhere! Other than that, the beds were decent, nothing fancy which was enough.

Cheapest place around, however, so many poor facilities that makes the stay painful, no hair dryer and no socket to plug it in if you bring your own, no television, wifi? It simply doesn't work. And the worse: UNCOMFORTABLE BED!!!! You wake up like you were hit by a bus! We paid over 50£ per night and had to rent...

DO NOT USE AMOMA.COM- they are a fraudulent website and con artists! Went to book Anker Hotel in Oslo through Amoma.com for £82 for 2x nights. Once we got to the payment gateway, it said the deal had timed out but there was a private room in the Anker Hostel next door for the same price. We did not want...

Ok, it is the one of the cheapest places in Oslo but some things could be better. There is nothing in the rooms but the beds and a bathroom. I stayed at this place two seperate nights in different rooms. In some rooms there are no sockets near the bed, no kitchen tools, no soap or no hair dryer in...

Very basic accommodation. You take your own linen or pay extra at the hostel. They are fairly close to the Oslo central station and a long walk to most of the sights that you can cover in a day. There is absolutely no toiletries or any basic cutlery like kettle or glass to drink water.

Had just 2 nights in Oslo. This hostel provided everything we needed for a fly in stay. Good value, clean and well located. I certainly recommend this to any traveller. If you need the finer things, maybe look for somewhere else. If you want a friendly and reliable hostel, this is your place.

It is one of very few hostels in Oslo and that's why so many people stay there. Besides its price, which, for Norway, is quite alright, the hostel doesn't have much to offer. Our room was not clean at all, there are no lockers for you to keep your stuff and in general it didn't feel welcoming at all. I...
