We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights from December 28th to January 1st. From the moment on when we walked in, we were mesmerised by the beauty and elegancy. The hotel has an old, charming "high-class" feel to it. The atmosphere was great, people were sitting in the main hall and enjoying themselves. Then there was a piano player,...

We stayed at the Bristol for three nights during our Oslo visit. I selected the Bristol based on TA reviews and travel book recommendations. We were not disappointed and had a lovely stay at the Bristol. The hotel is centrally located and easy walks to the main Oslo town attractions and the port area. Our room was very large, comfortable,...

We stayed here for 2 nights as a couple and loved it. Beautiful hotel and rooms. Staff were all friendly and courteous. Location of hotel is very central and easy to reach using the airport bus. Hotel is only minutes walk from city centre shopping areas, restaurants and cafes. A lot of museums nearby also. Hotel buddy breakfast is very...

If you love old world charm, this is the place. The 1st floor lobby area is beautiful and the ambience is warm and upscale. The front desk staff is extremely professional and helpful. They are the high point of this house in my opinion. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is first rate. If you are traveling from another...

Good service. Helpful front desk. Comfortable. Will gladly return. (I do not see the value in epressing my views in the form of prose. Believes words are sufficient. Box should be changed to a maximum of 200 Words.)

Whoever gave this Dickensian monstrousity 4 stars really does need a rethink. In trying to be constructive I cannot find any plaudits I could pass on for this hotel. From the unhelpful and inexperienced front desk to the rude and scruffy restaurant maitre de to the smallest, dirtiest bathrooms and Victoriana rooms this is one experience I sincerely would recommend...

One night stop before we headed North to Trondheim. Very ornate non-contemporary hotel, so made a pleasant change from the normal sterile hotels you see all over the UK. Service was very good and were useful when called upon Nothing negative, except the usual view of other rooms from the window. On a positive note the breakfast was of exceptional...

Well, there I was for a two night stay in the Bristol hotel in Oslo. Right in the middle of the city, good location. Nice lobby, efficient check-in and check-out. Good breakfast buffet -very extensive- , good coffee. But... Got stuffed away in a very small room on the fourth floor with a one person bed and the tiniest of...

A big old-fashioned hotel well placed for the historic parts of town and the National Gallery and university. Large lobby with cafe and bar, always bustling and busy. I had a Club room which was absolutely enormous, with a big desk, comfortable chairs, and lots of storage space, bathrobes and slippers. Nice toiletries available (L'Occitane) in the bathroom and underfloor...
