Hotel is very large, our room was on the 8th floor. Within walking distance of the main bus/train station (but beware the walk, people were openly shooting drugs a block form the hotel). On the other side of the hotel away from the drug scene...More
The hotel was easy to find walking from the central train station. My room was small and simply furnished but clean and comfortable. It is next to a green space along the Akerselva River, which is a good place for a walk or run in...More
I stayed at the Anker hotel with two of my kids for a fee days. There are few options for a triple room in Oslo and this is one of them. The hotel is clean an conveniently located close to the city center by tram...More
Oslo is expensive, no secret there. I paid 600 kr for night here, and that is cheap! The breakfast was great, the room was nice the only thing is that my bed was small. However, I'm still very satisfied with my stay and the staff...More

You take the airport express train and get off at the main train station which is the end and in the center of town. You can buy your ticket right at the airport terminal after customs. At the main train station, there is a bus which departs in front that takes you very close to the hotel. I don´t remember the number but it departs right in front of the main train station and goes to the right (possibly 32). From the bus stop then it is 100 meters. Without luggage it is an easy walk.
We booked our tours online: Took hop on/hop off to get an idea of the whole area and then did follow-up and additional on our own. From the hotel you can walk to the center in 7 minutes and to many other places also. It is very convenient. Many restaurants within walking distance. Restaurants are very expensive!!
