My wife and I stayed in the Levante for a long weekend and to be honest, we were a bit disappointed. To give this hotel a 5-star rating is really going too far. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice place but there's a bit...More

Very stylish design hotel in lovely building. Room very nice and great luxurious bathroom. Free wifi in lounge areas very handy. Breakfast good with a mix of buffet and cooked food. Good location two minutes away from Metro station. About 10 minutes walk to the...More
This is a lovely hotel, very modern, trendy and fairly minimalist without being stark. The staff were charming, extremely helpful, pleasant and friendly. I think my expectations of 5star were maybe a bit high as the hotel itself wasn't as luxurious as I had hoped...More
Our first touchdown of our Winter Wonderland tour to celebrate our 35th Aniversary and our first time ever in Europe was Vienna and the extraordinary hotel, The Levante Parliament.

I was struck down with the flu for three days over and including Christmas day. Fortunately I was staying at the lovely Levante Parliament so while I saw very little of Vienna, I did have a comfortable room to sleep away three days.

The eighth district is an older generation’s Vienna at its finest: and this is what makes it popular with locals of all ages. Josefstadt has theatre, small independent shops, romantic passageways, neighbourhood cafés with regular clientele, church squares, town palaces and shady communal gardens. Trendy hangouts have conquered distinctive places such as the Old General Hospital (Altes AKH) and the vaults of
overground U6. Theater in der Josefstadt on Josefstädter Strasse is the district’s cultural epicentre. Even if your German isn’t good enough to watch a play, you can marvel at the typical Biedermeier building and take a glimpse into the foyer. Lange Gasse houses an iconic local restaurant at its corner, as well as a legendary sweet shop and a bustling neighbourhood market every Saturday. For small palace atmosphere and a different view on Vienna’s history, make your way to Schönborn garden palace (Palais Schönborn), which houses the Museum of Folk and Folk Art (Volkskundemuseum). Maria-Treu-Platz, with its summer outdoor cafés facing baroque church Maria Treu, and the historic passageway of Lerchenfelder Strasse 13 hide top spots for insiders.
I'm sorry, but I'm not sure about the breakfast buffet options. They should be flexible enough to offer something for vegetarians, but I wouldn't count on it. Luckily, if you're in Vienna, you're never far from a plethora... More
I'm sorry, but I'm not sure about the breakfast buffet options. They should be flexible enough to offer something for vegetarians, but I wouldn't count on it. Luckily, if you're in Vienna, you're never far from a plethora of dining options.
Best of luck. Enjoy Vienna. It's a fantastic city.
