For just 35 euros a night for a single room (breakfast included), this place rocks! Nice room with a good bed, excellent breakfast, and very friendly people. The location is good as well (close to public transport). Although it has shared bathrooms and toilets, there was never a wait and everything was kept clean very well. One morning, I was...

Not far from the Westbahnhof, 15 minutes to the opera and 3 minutes to a main shopping street was just perfect for 3 days Vienna, The hotel is old, but very well maintained, very good breakfast, the owner could be a little more friendly but all by all excellent, especially the price in Vienna

Pension Kraml was a great place to stay in Vienna. Though it was a short walk to the metro system, it was very convenient to get to all the sights in town. Staff were very friendly and offered a great breakfast with plenty to eat with meats and cheeses, fresh juice, buns, fruit and yogurt!

Pension Kraml was a pleasant enough place to stay, and is located near a great shopping strip of Vienna. The local pub around the corner serves great food. Computer in lobby for free internet. It is a little out of Vienna city, and a little hard to find from the instructions on the website. The rooms are a little old...

You can look at top hotels and find almost none below 100 euros. But Pension Kraml should better be filed at B&B/Inns section. It has a great location, as mentioned by previous reviewers, minutes away from main Vienna shopping street and subway station (just one stop from Westbahnhof station and easy access to Bus to the Sudbahndof, just two blocks...

My travel buddy & I loved this place! Our room was huge with nice comfy beds and an in-room basin with vanity. Very clean. Bath & shower were down the hall - also spotless. The breakfast was fabulous and served buffet style in a very lovely dining area. About a 20 minute walk to Vienna's main tourist area, we couldn't...

i looked at position on city map and thought it looked a little far out, but accepted review comments on great location and it proved to be just that. Main shopping area a block away, good restuarants handy, as is metro. Museum section is 15 min walk or hop on subway. Schromnbrunn Palace is just as handy in other direction....

I am going to buck the trend here and say that I really wouldn't go back to this pension. We were a group of 4 (2 couples) who had booked 2 nights in the family apartment. Unfortunately, we were caught up in a strike in Greece and were not able to make it the first night. When we realised this,...

We always try to do our best to keep our clients satisfied. If a client cancels his room reservation one day before arrival (booking was made months before!) it is only short time for us to re-rent the room. If we can re-rent the room - there is no cancellation fee. If we are not sucessful in re-rental the cancellation...

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
