Near to subway station, 5-10min walk. The room was spacious for four of us. The washroom was big enough and warm. We had four single beds. Anyhow the beds were a bit old. There were quite a number of restaurants surrounding. McD is just beside the subway station :) Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable with reasonable price.

It was an OK room, mediocre hotel, in a slightly un-central part of town. Nothing to call home about but for the money we paid we were happy. The breakfast was just fine but all the glasses were dirty every time we were there (as in needed to be cleaned better, not used) and the rooms are small even for...

Our group has stayed twice in this hotel already and we were very satisfied with it both times. Price is really low, and the variety of rooms great - we had two rooms for 10 people, the rooms have enough space, you do not feel crowded at all and the beds are comfortable as well. The breakfast was fresh and...

- We had enough space in the room - Problem was: we couldn't open the windows (we were not informed that it was broken), and if you are four people you want to let fresh air in the room - Rest was OK/good

I went there with my school.I stayed there for one week. The hotel isn't far from the city center. The hotel is small but the rooms are big and clean. The restaurant is really small and the breakfast buffet is of low quality with fruits, ham, cereals, yogurt and some beverages. The food isn't bad. In the hotel there are many...

We were very disappointed when our tour operator changed the hotel we initially booked with this one, since it has a low rating. However, it was not that bad. It is far from the city center but there is a metro/tram station nearby. The good thing about the hotel is that it is clean, hot and there is free wifi....

Best hotel at the price I paid that had everything one needs for a holiday. It is located in the central, very clean, free wifi and tv and close to station. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed there twice already and will keep on booking in this hotel as I was satisfied

We stayed for 3 nights to visit the Christmas markets and found this hotel to be in a good location near the underground station. The room was good value and clean and comfortable. The room was cleaned each day we were there. The staff were helpful and polite. I would stay here again if returning to Vienna

The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the metro there you can get everywhere within 30 minutes. Trams are also not far. The room was big and comfortable, can't complain. Reasonable prices and staff were friendly.

Staying in Ottakring

Neighbourhood Profile
The production site of popular Ottakringer beer brews up an exciting mix of working and middle class suburbs, Balkanese immigrant lifestyles, and lush patches of hilly woodland. The recently gentrified area around Yppenplatz and Brunnenmarkt boasts hip cafés and bars next to South East European delicacies at Brunnenmarkt street market. The dynamics of Ottakring become most apparent at its vibrant high street Ottakringer Strasse. At the top end you can feast on wine and local food in Austria’s oldest wine tavern 10er Marie. The wines are from the tavern’s own urban vineyards. Before you head upwards, make sure you pay a visit to the historic courtyards between Lerchenfelder Gürtel and Hippgasse. When locals visit Ottakring’s hilly green outskirts on the weekends they either climb up 31 meters of Jubiläumswarte viewing tower on Gallitzinberg, have a succulent Wiener Schnitzel at Villa Aurora, or reward their hiking exertions around Wilhelminenberg with a drink and a view from Wilhelminenberg Palace (now a hotel and restaurant).
