We stayed for 5 nights at the Bleckman - room was fine and quiet (we had asked for one at the back), a good variety of food for breakfast and we enjoyed our stay. Very good value for what we got and a great location - it is close to the transport hub of Schottontor (trams and underground, the 38...

We arrived to a very friendly welcome and were checked in quickly. The hotel shares the building with other office/home tenants, so the stup is a little weird, but otherwise ok. the rooms were clean and we slept well. The breakfast was lovely and lots of choices. The parking is across the street in a locked building. People with large...

I highly recommend the Bleckmann for staying in Vienna. It was easy to get to from the airport using the directions on the hotel web site. The location is convenient for walking to the various museums. The staff was extremely helpful in trying to reach the airport after my checked bag did not arrive. The breakfast was outstanding with a...

I visited this hotel several times in the past few months and I'm really satisfied by the services and the staff. In the first place, the hotel location is very good and the most significant tourist attractions in the city center are in walking distance - Rathaus, Parliament, Hofburg Palace, StephansPlatz etc. The hotel is quite place to take a...

This hotel is an easy walk to the central area and handy to public transport. Old style building, rather quaint. Staff were friendly and helpful, basic but adequate breakfast.Rooms did not have aircon and the shower cubicle had a curtain not a door so the bathroom floor got very wet! Free wifi throughout but weak signal in our room. Would...

We chose this place because of the 50% discount from the original price. Advantages: nice location (15 mins walk to the very center of the city), friendly staff and pretty quiet location (for those who likes such priority). Disadvantages: you should ask waitress for a coffee during breakfast (a bit uncomfortable).

Hotel locates in downtown only 20 minutes walking distance to the Stephansplatz, and only a few minutes to the Ring trams stations, pretty convenient. hotel room is the old style with high ceiling. It is not hot at night even the room does not have air conditions. Front desk is very nice and helpful! The bathroom is small with only...

The rooms are small and have limited TV channels and no aircon: beware in the summer! Rooms on the front are noisy. The staff are charming and very helpful and the breakfast buffet is excellent. It is very conveniently located next to a tramp stop and only five minutes from the Schottentor underground. A good base in a quiet neighbouhood.

Convenient location. Good sized (for the price) room in interesting old building. Friendly reception and more than adequate breakfast. Warning - lots if stairs which add to the C19th atmosphere but make luggage carrying hard work. Recommend as good value.

The only thing good about this hotel is that they have a great and very humble and courteous staff otherwise there is nothing else which is positive about this hotel. I stayed here in june and to my surprise there was no airconditioner in the hotel and the temperature during my stay was around 38 degrees in Vienna. The smell...

“The rooms in the front face the street, which is busy and noisy at night. There are triple pane windows which eliminate the noise, but also eliminate air! The hotel website says that the front facing rooms have some sort of air circulation system, but we kept the windows open and it was pretty noisy. On a subsequent stay we had a room in the back...no view but no noise. I'd recommend a room in the back.”
