Close to, but not in, the city centre, this is a great place to stay. The rooms are quite large, comfortable and well-equipped - there's even a coffee pod machine - although I'm not sure about the two windows between the bathroom and the bedroom. A good breakfast, good service and excellent free wi-fi make this a good choice.

Hotel is very well located close to Museum Quartier with its charming atmosphere as well close to main shopping street Mariahilferstrasse (both within 15min walking distance). Hotel is fine and clean and staff is nice to guests. Rooms are not the most modern ones but clean and maintained.

This would be a great hotel for the business person. My room was ultra modern. The headboard doubles as the desk. Very clever as a space saving method. The beds, pushed together single beds in the Austrian fashion, are very comfortable, as are the pillows. I did not give this hotel 5 stars for two reasons: the glass shower partition...

The rooms are small - and very small if you are used to 4 star hotels of the middle east ...and in particular GCC countries. The room AC was very noisy and I just couldn't sleep - in the end I had to turn the AC off just to get a few hours sleep. And the windows only open a...

The hotel is an outstanding choice. I stayed there as a consequence of the booking my bicycle tour company made. However, I elected to stay extra days due to my total satisfaction. The reception staff went out of their way to be helpful. The location was within easy walking distance of centre - a couple of kilometres . Bus into centre very close and the U6 station close. The hotel is pretty good though there is a problem with the room in August... It is too hot in there!!! There is no air conditioned and you have to open the windows and pray for the temperature to decrease... Apart from that, everything is nice: installations, personnel... Even the breakfast was good

A pleasant hotel situated down a quiet side street, a 20 minute walk from the Museums Quarter, with very friendly and helpful staff. Nice hotel, with spacious and clean rooms. Beds are comfortable, but the pillows are too soft for me... Breakfast with a large selection. Friendly and helpful, multilingual staff. Located fairly close to the Mariahilf shopping street and the U-Bahn. There is (in my opinion) too far to walk to the old city centre, so consider taking public transportation.

Neighbourhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
