I have stayed at the Drei Kronen on 4 different occassions and really enjoy this hotel! It has a great location, free internet, clean rooms, big windows for fresh air, and nice staff. I enjoy the quick walking to shopping, and eating, as well as it is a good location to get to the airport and take driving trips out... More

Nothing too flash about this hotel, its old but for 74 Euro for the room including breakfast for 2 and free wifi Internet access I could not complain. Our room was small but spotlessly clean, bit warm but we had a fan so it wasn't too bad. Our room had double doors that opened on to a balcony over looking... More

Got a good deal, 30 EUR perp person per night inc Breakfast. Very good value for Vienna hotel. 5 Min walk from Karlsplatz and U-Bahn. 10/15 min walk from Stephansplatz and main square. Very good location wise but just outside inner circle. Opposite Naschmarket (open air food shops/little boutique restaurant/wine bars) This was fantastic and sampled some great food/drinks.. Hotel... Wanting to spend an extra day in Vienna after ending a 12-day Danube River cruise, four of us booked lodging at the Drei Kronen for one night and were pleasantly pleased. As we were riding in a taxi there after diembarking the ship, we commented about how great it would be if our rooms were ready. You can imagine the... More

Two couples stayed at Drei Kronen the end of September 2008. We were able to check in early - directly from our river boat cruise. Our rooms were large & airy, facing the front of the hotel. It was not noisy & we slept well. The breakfast buffet was adequate & there is free internet - one computer in the... More

We were quite pleased with our first stay at the Hotel Drei Kronen (Three Crowns) during this, our fifth trip to Vienna. The hotel is smaller and older, but updated and well-maintained. We had a large room with a huge bathroom, so we had plenty of space. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff was was... More

We had a two day stay at this hotel. The room was not great, not large but was clean and good value for money. We paid 75 € per night incl breakfast. Breakfast was fair, but not to die for, coffee was too strong. Bathroom was ok, but shower was a disaster, not so clean and old, this needs to... More

I stayed in the Drei Kronen for 4 days in late June during the Euro 08 football tornament. The location of the hotel couldn't be better, just a few minutes from Karlsplatz and the U-Bahn, about ten minutes on foot from Stefansplatz. The hotel staff were couteous and helpful. The rooms were grim enough in terms of decor, dark and... More

Stayed at the Drei Kronen (Three Crowns) at the end of May for two nights. Having never been in Vienna before, didn't know what to expect of the hotel or of the city. The hotel is located near the Naschmarkt and there was a little noise from there, but our oom was on the side road, not on the main... More

I've stayed at other 3* hotels before and I've always been pleasantly surprised when I've first arrived, but I was a bit disappointed with the Drei Kronen. The hotel itself probably only has about 50 rooms and we were on the top floor. The hotel seems a bit old and the lift isn't very modern!! The room itself wasn't what... More
