Nice hotel, close to Mariahilfestrasse, cozy rooms, very clean-every day the room was cleaned up. We have breakfast included, very diversified and fresh. Although I encounterd a problem to the reception, I booked parking place before travel but when I arrived there-surprise: no parking for 2 days, so i have to leave my car far away with very expensive price.

Modern and fine hotel close to U-Bahn Zieglergasse only a 5 minute walk and Mariahilfe (shopping street), stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. Rooms have enough space and it is an excellent stating location for a city trip.

I had high hopes for this hotel judging from the website. What a disappointment. Not only did most of the staff lack in personality, professionalism and helpfulness, the room was unpleasant. I would not stay here again. The best thing about this hotel was the Asian restaurants and a pub a short walk away.

We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. The staff is welcoming and nice. Rooms have enough space. We stayed in a room for two with double-size bed. There was a TV-set (about 30 channels, mostly Austrian and German, but there were also French, Italian, Turkish and Arab ones); a mini bar with soda drinks and water; and a safe...

This is not 4 star hotel, I'll tell you that. Maybe 3 star, at best. Here is some pluses and minuses: First, the plus sides: +The location is great, just a few minutes walk and you're right on the main shopping street called Mariahilfer Straße. Zieglergasse metro station is also near. +Service was okay. (Especially young brunette woman,I didn't catch...

We stayed in the room on the fourth (top) floor. The room had all the basic amenities as expected . The breakfast spread was good . The service was great and the staff at the reception was very helpful. The washroom ,however , did not have a good exhaust and was slightly crammed. It's very close to the train station...

Our bedroom was in a second floor. It was clean, spacious and just what we needed. Room had a nice closet and a safe. A/C was a bit off, never got it working but weather was around 6 degree celsius so just opened the window a bit. Breakfast was included in our reservation and it was amazing! Location is really...

Would not recommend for stay. No basic facilities in rooms like coffee kettle, ironing etc. One needs to ask for it. Breakfast is frugal and starts late (0700am) by Vienna standards. Could do with a lot of facilities. Needs improvements.

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
