I have been coming here on and off for many years now, since the former owner passed away, due to the hotel's amazing location and friendly staff. Great value for money, a good 4 stars hotel, with a decent breakfast and a good sparkling wine if you are in the mood, 50m from Mozart's house (at least one of them)...

Hotel Domizil is a medium sized, cosy hotel. Friendly, homely, and perfectly situated at 200 meters behind the Stephansdom. Comfortable rooms with good beds and a well equipped bathroom. Breakfast is very good.

Had a wonderful experience at Domizil. The hotel was conveniently located to all tourist areas. The rooms and common areas were clean. The breakfast was great! The staff was off the charts! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Domizil and were very pleased with this hotel. The location is fantastic- less than two blocks from St Stephens and the center of the historic district. The rooms were larger than many we have used in Europe with a very comfortable bed. Some of the rooms have a tub and some...

Really good hotel. Excellent location. You can walk everywhere and you are just behind the Stephansplatz. Close to the metro and 10 minutes walking to the OBB, train that brings you to the airport. Real good breakfast, with fresh fruit, bread, eggs, cereal, everything. We had a excellent service.

I stayed in a single room on the second floor. The room was the perfect amount of space for one person. Everything was clean and modern, and the big window provided a nice view of the street. The large window and the super high ceilings made the room feel larger. There were so many choices for breakfast, and the staff...

We were in Vienna just for one evening but the location of the hotel made the stay worthwhile. The hotel is great value for money with helpful staff and a nice breakfast spread. But the best thing about the hotel is the location which less than 500 m from the cathedral and the central shopping streets. We had numerous eating...

Spent 4 nights in Pension Domizil which well located in old city. The staff is helpful and breakfast good but after that it is nothing special. Based on drawing found on back of door we had one of bigger rooms and it is best described as tiny! Space along side of bed is barely enough to reach bed and you...

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
