This Hapimag resort is up to the usual Hapimag standards in most respects-- clean, well appointed apartments with friendly staff. The location is ideal, no need to use public transport to get to all downtown attractions.
But in this day and age, why is there...More
the resort is centrally located close to 2 metros so public transport is eady; typical Hapimag apartment = clean, functional, meets expectatons; staff was very helpful in finding restaurants and things to do; we will return
My sister arranged for us to stay here for my brother-in-law's birthday. My room was on the ground floor, was quite large, well fitted and comfortable. Kitchenette was well equipped including a Nespresso m/c. Everything in the bathroom worked well. Only downside was the bed,...More
The location was not so nice, about 15 min. walk from the centre in a really quiet area. But this was ok. The appartment was really, really small for a family with two adults and two children in the age of 9 and 8 years...More

Vienna is more than schnitzel and Sacher Torte cake. The city residence is located near the Hofburg and the Spanish Riding School. Stroll through the Schönbrunn Palace gardens, relax on a horse-drawn carriage ride and enjoy a Vienna Mélange in the coffee house. Visit the opera, enjoy the view from the ferris wheel, admire St. Stephen's cathedral and climb up to the Pummerin bell. The place to go for art, culture and modern art.

The eighth district is an older generation’s Vienna at its finest: and this is what makes it popular with locals of all ages. Josefstadt has theatre, small independent shops, romantic passageways, neighbourhood cafés with regular clientele, church squares, town palaces and shady communal gardens. Trendy hangouts have conquered distinctive places such as the Old General Hospital (Altes AKH) and the vaults of
overground U6. Theater in der Josefstadt on Josefstädter Strasse is the district’s cultural epicentre. Even if your German isn’t good enough to watch a play, you can marvel at the typical Biedermeier building and take a glimpse into the foyer. Lange Gasse houses an iconic local restaurant at its corner, as well as a legendary sweet shop and a bustling neighbourhood market every Saturday. For small palace atmosphere and a different view on Vienna’s history, make your way to Schönborn garden palace (Palais Schönborn), which houses the Museum of Folk and Folk Art (Volkskundemuseum). Maria-Treu-Platz, with its summer outdoor cafés facing baroque church Maria Treu, and the historic passageway of Lerchenfelder Strasse 13 hide top spots for insiders.
